Cable Specification Requirements for Field Installable Plug
Range for Round Cable Diameter: 0.39 - 0.54” (10 - 13.5 mm)
SJ00T or Equivalent Recommended for Outdoor Use
Contacts UL/ CSA Rated to 9 amps, up to 600 V, 105 C

Outer Sheath: approx. 1 ¼”
Conductors: approx. 1/3”
Max conductor diameter: 16 gage
or use larger Stranded Conductors trimmed to 16 gage or thinner.
4) From Rear View of Plug Head at wire clamp holes, as shown in figure 4
Loosen 3 screw clamps with flat blade size ( -1) screw driver, to allow conductors to enter. Top 2 screws for wire clamps are shown in figure 5
5) Insert and securely tighten each screw terminal onto each of three stripped conductors as shown in figure 5
Lowest hole is Safety Ground Wire (green) Nearest to Polarity Key
Left Upper: Neutral (white)
Right Upper: Hot / Line (black)

6) Holding head in place, screw Coupling Shell to Plug Head Securely.
7) Nest Compression Bushing over O-Ring Seal, then push and seat assembly into rear of Coupling Shell.
8) Screw on Compression Nut to Coupling Shell and secure firmly with wrench for good seal. Do not over-tighten.
Plug is now ready for Mating with compatible Pre-Installed Panel Mount Outlet.

1) Install O-Ring Seal over rear threads
Panel Mount (Wire Side) as shown
3) Install Panel Nut from Rear of Quick
Connector, on inside of Enclosure
2) Install Panel Mount as shown from
outside of enclosure, with washer on
this side, & Polarity Key positioned at
bottom
4) Firmly but carefully Tighten Nut.
Do not over tighten +/- 1/4 turn beyond
finger tight, to avoid stripping threads
on nut.
