AssuredUVS software is a mature, full-featured suite of tools that can completely enable
storage virtualization and disaster recovery solutions. In the coming years, as customers de-

tion and integration, uptime and disaster recovery.
AssuredUV software offers many options which can be used to create different solutions tar-
geted at specifi c customer profi les. The AssuredUVS software can be loaded onto standard
hardware and OEM partners can select among its many features. AssuredUVS can integrate
and virtualize multiple SAN and NAS devices and supports both fi bre channel and iSCSI SAN networking.

In addition to Dot Hill 3000 series, the AssuredUVS platform supports an extremely wide variety of storage vendors and models currently deployed in data centers world wide,
Xiotech, and Xyratex . For specifi c models, please request a copy of the Dot Hill AssuredUVS Interoperability Matrix from your Dot Hill represen-
tative for a full and up-to-date listing of qualifi ed and supported storage.

There is an AssuredUVS professional services Installation package which is available with AssuredUVS purchase. The installation engagement
includes a one day session with a Dot Hill customer support engineer for the purposes of activating AssuredUVS systems, and provisioning the
storage.

Support is required with purchase of AssuredUVS. There are several support packages available which scale with an organization’s service
Management
AssuredUVS’s graphical user interface and Command Line Interface also allow system administrators to manage all functions such as creating
storage volumes, changing their sizes, migrating
fi les, and establishing snapshot schedules from a
common management interface so that the storage environment can be more easily managed.
