AssuredUVS™ Standard and Datacenter are dedicated storage virtualization appliances designed to solve

AssuredUVS appliances are dedicated systems, consisting of AssuredUVS software running on industry

Models
AssuredUVS appliances are available to fi t the needs of enterprises, from mid-sized
all the way to the very largest enterprises. AssuredUVS appliances scale from 50TB of
storage to 6 petabytes, and can be upgraded as storage needs grow. Both AssuredUVS
models include management of diverse storage vendor systems, volume creation and
management, thin provisioning, and snapshots. The replication feature and NAS host
connectivity modules are sold separately.

Management
AssuredUVS’s Graphical User Interface and Command
Line Interface allow system administrators to manage
all functions such as creating storage volumes, migrating data, and establishing snapshot schedules from a
common management interface so that the storage environment can be more easily managed. Administrators
can set up and change policies for all these management functions.
Reports
AssuredUVS includes a complete set of reporting tools.

Storage
The AssuredUVS platform supports an extremely wide
variety of storage vendors and models including Apple,
Dot Hill, EMC, Hitachi, HP, IBM, LSI/Engenio, NetApp,
Nexsan, Promise, Sun, Xiotech, and Xyratex. For specifi c

Support and Professional Services
Installation
There is an AssuredUVS professional services Installation
package which is available with AssuredUVS purchase. The
installation engagement includes a one day session with a
Dot Hill customer support engineer for the purposes of activating AssuredUVS systems, and provisioning the storage.
Hypervisor Environments
AssuredUVS operates in VMware, Citrix Xen and Microsoft
Hyper-V environments.
Application Environments
AssuredUVS can be the perfect storage solution for
supporting Microsoft Exchange, SQL and SharePoint
applications, Apple Xsan, as well as Oracle and MySQL
databases.
Networks
AssuredUVS works in both Fibre Channel and Ethernet
networking environments.
Support
Support is required with purchase of AssuredUVS. There
are several support packages available which scale with
an organization’s service level needs.
