Simple Remote Replication
Repli cat ion is simply the ability t o cap ture a moment in time
of a disk volume and rep licate it to a differe nt lo cation. It
allows the remo te copy of data not only to functi on as a
backup, bu t it pr ovides the ability to res tore to a sp ecific
point -in -time to recover sys tems to a mo ment before a significant e vent, such as data corrup tion or applicatio n fai lure.
