• Power saving mode reduces power consumption up to 85%
• 128-bit AES Link Encryption with key management for secure power line communications
Note: Power outlets and electrical wiring must all be part of the same electrical system. Certain electrical conditions in your home, such as wiring condition
and conguration, may aect the performance of this product. Additional D-Link PowerLine AV2 series products are required to add new devices to the
network. A minimum of two D-Link PowerLine AV2 series products are required to create a network. Connecting this product to a power strip with a surge
protector may adversely aect the performance of this product. For best results, plug the adapter directly into a wall outlet.
* Maximum throughput based on theoretical transmission PHY rate. Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of trac
and network overhead, may lower actual data throughput rate. Interference from devices that emit electrical noise, such as vacuum cleaners and hair dryers, may adversely aect
the performance of this product. This product may interfere with devices such as lighting systems that have a dimmer switch, short wave radios, or other PowerLine devices that
do not follow the HomePlug AV standard.
Introduction
Create a high-speed home network at speeds of up to 2000Mbps*. The DHP-701AV kit includes two DHP-700AV Powerline AV2 2000 Gigabit adapters.
You can connect several dierent devices, from routers, computers, access points, gaming consoles, to Smart TV’s, bringing Ethernet network connectivity
to hard-to-reach areas in your home. Each adapter will come with the latest in AV2 MIMO technology and Gigabit connectivity so that you can stream
more HD media, transfer all those large les and be online playing games with your friends.

LEDs
1 Ethernet LED
• Solid Green: The Ethernet port is linked.
• O: There is no Ethernet connection.
2 PowerLine LED
• Solid: The device is connected to a PowerLine network.
• O: The device has not found any other compatible Powerline
devices using the same encryption key.
The color indicates the PowerLine link rate:
• Green: The PowerLine link rate is best.
• Amber: The PowerLine link rate is better.
• Red: The PowerLine link rate is good.
3 Power LED
• Solid: The device is receiving electrical power.
• Blinking: The Simple Connect button was pressed or is in Power
Saving Mode.
• O: The device is not receiving electrical power.

Connection
1 Reset Button
Press and hold the button for 10 seconds to reset to the factory
default settings.
2 Simple Connect Button
Press and hold the button for two seconds to secure your network.
(Refer to “Push Button Security” on page 11 for more information.)
3 Gigabit Ethernet Port
Connect to an Ethernet device such as a router, computer, video
game console, network storage device, or a media player.
