This vacuum has been designed with a patented Performance Indicator Wheel (located on the handle). This indicator, along with a clog valve, prevents the motor from overheating if a clog occurs. If activated, the wheel will spin rapidly and you’ll notice a decrease in the power or suction of the vacuum. If this happens, unplug the cleaner, empty the dirt container and deep clean the PERMA FILTER
®
with CleanStream™Filtration (see page 6 in the instruction manual). Also inspectthe nozzle/dirt passage, clear hose inlet for blockages and check the Hepa filter (replace if necessary - page 7). To maintain the performance of your vacuum, it is recommended that you empty the dirt container before the dirt reaches the “Max Fill” line and regularly clean the PERMA FILTER
®
with CleanStream™Filtration (located in the dirt container).
