Symptom: 1) When the DVI-D terminal of the above models was connected to
the DVI-D terminal of the TH-AE500 Projector manufactured by Matsushita® by means of DVI-D cable, there is a case that the DVI Video changes into noise and is not displayed properly.
2) When AVR-5805 or Matsushita's® SA-RX70 Digital Amplifier was connected to the above models as a DVI Repeater, the signal latch of the Player occurs, the certification is not performed properly and the Image turns into video noise.
3) At the DVI Output Video of 720p/1080i, the left-upper portion on the screen of the PAL models among the above models is partially missing.
Solution:
MODIFICATION: (Upon Claim) Record the files on one blank CD-R and update the Firmware of your customer's unit upon claim.

1) Regarding the update procedures of the Firmware, please refer to the Service Manual.
2) The Versions for all the subject models after the update are 1.12. Caution during the Rewriting Operation:
• Please do not turn the Power of the unit off during the updating operation!
• When recording the program file for updating on a CD-R, please record it at the 4-times speed of the normal speed. If the 4 times speed was not available, please record it at the minimum speed that is select-able in your machine. If the program file was recorded at a high speed, such as 32 or 48 times speed of the normal speed, the updating may fail due to the data incorrectly recorded on the CD-R.
• If the Power was interrupted during the operation, replacement of the DVD Main CBA Unit (P. W. Board) may be required.
• When the Display does not turn into "DONE" and it continues indicating "LOADING", wait for more than two minutes after closing the Loader and turn off the Power of the unit once. Then, turn on the Power of the unit and start the rewriting operation again from the beginning.
