Subject: Countermeasure for improving vibration noise upon tapping the Top

Cover.

Symptom: Mechanical vibration noise is produced when hitting around the

center of the Top Cover.

Solution:

bracket (angle) so that the vibration noise is suppressed.

• Modification Procedure:

1) Remove two screws on the rear of the unit and eight screws on the top of the
Top Cover and remove the Top Cover from the unit.

2) Attach the two Rubber Sheets on the right and Left sides on the bracket
located in the central portion of the unit. (Refer to the Drawing.)

3) Assemble the unit in the counter procedures of the item #1).

• Positions of the Rubber Sheets to be attached: (Refer to the attached drawing.)
Attach the Rubber Sheets so that two screw holes on the front and rear sides of
the bracket are covered.
