Subject: Countermeasure for a malfunction on the Analog 2-channel Output-
terminal.
Symptom: No sound output from the Analog 2-channel output terminal. (The
5.1-channel outputs the sound signal properly.)
Solution:
IC502 so that it is pulled up to +3.3V which allows the Boot operation to start
properly.
MODIFICATION: (Upon claim and/or refurbishment of the unit) Apply the
following modification to the subject models upon customer claim and/or
refurbishment of the unit.
• The P. W. Board to which the modification is applied: SYSTEM UNIT
Add a 10k-ohm resistor (P/N 00D 241 2400 995) to Pin #146 of

Connect the 10kΩ resistor between the Pin #146 (nSTATUS) of the IC502
(EP1C12Q240C8) and the 3.3V_D1-1.
