Important information
1. Read the instruction booklet carefully before using the appliance.
2. Before using, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated in the
specifications label under the handle.
3. Connect your cleaner only to power outlets with a minimum of 10 amps V, and make sure the outlet is earthed. For machines with double insulation (see symbol on specifications label) earthing is not necessary.
4. Always disconnect the appliance from mains outlet when not in use or before any maintenance or care operation.
5. Do not clean the appliance with trichloroethylene or other solvents.
6. Do not tug on the power cord to disconnect the appliance from mains outlet.
7. Do not leave your cleaner unattended while it is running. Keep it away from the reach of
children and persons unfit to use it.
8. Do not run the appliance over the power cord as this may damage the insulation.
9. Do not use to pick up flammable liquids.
10.Do not use the appliance to pick up matches, hot ash, or burning cigarette ends.
11.This cleaner is intended for domestic use only, and must be used in accordance with the
operating instructions contained in this booklet.
12.Particular care must be taken when using the appliance on stairs.
13.Be especially careful when using the appliance on stairs.
14.Do not attempt to use the appliance if it appears to be faulty.
15.For all repairs, always have your appliance serviced at an authorized Technical Service
Centre.

Caution: make sure that all the fabrics and surfaces to be cleaned are colourfast and sturdy enough for extraction cleaning. Do not use the cleaner on delicate hand-woven rugs and carpets. If in doubt, spot-test in an inconspicuous area and wait until completely dry before checking the results. When using for the first time, employ a low concentration shampoo solution The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage to rugs, carpets, chairs, upholstery, etc., resulting from the use of detergents other than those provided with the appliance.

Re-attach motor unit to the tank, making sure to line it up with the notch over the suction inlet port (fig. 5).
Remove the external solution tank (removable) using the handle (fig.6).
Fill both compartments.
Open the hatch marked , fill with approx.
2.5 l. water and close. Open the hatch marked , pour in a quantity of shampoo and
water using the doses indicated on the bottle. The total volume should be approx. 2.2 l. (fig.7). To do this, proceed as follows: if for example the quantities recommended are 1 part shampoo to 20 parts water, fill the tank marked with the symbol with water, checking the level on the indicator located on the outside of the tank (fig.8) to notch 9 (corresponding to approx. 2 l.) and then top up to the Max level with shampoo.

Caution: while assembling and preparing the appliance for use, make sure that it is not plugged in.
Remove the motor unit by releasing the catches (fig.1).
Lift off motor unit by the easy-grip handle and remove tools from inside the tank. Make sure that the polyurethane foam filter (35) required for extraction cleaning and wet vacuuming is fitted over the motor housing (21) (fig.2).
Remove the curved steel handle by moving the ends out of the slots (first one side, then the other) (fig.3).
Remove the diffuser cone from inside the tank. Pour around 2 litres of water into the tank; replace the diffuser cone, attach the steel handle and replace the motor unit
(fig.4).
