• DO NOT run the appliance over the power cable to avoid damaging the cable insulation.
• DO NOT vacuum up inflammable or corrosive liquids.

ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATIONS FOR USE AS A WET & DRY VACUUM CLEANER
Important: during assembly and preparation for use, make sure the appliance is UNPLUGGED from the mains.
• Release the cover by pulling the clips out-
wards (fig.1).
• Remove the diffuser cone, suction conve-
yor and, finally, the bottom plate (fig. 2).
•Turn the appliance upside down and fix
the four castors in place by pushing them
into the holes in the bottom of the drum
(fig.3).
• Make sure the polyurethane filter is in
place on the motor housing (fig 4).
• Insert the bottom plate J, fixing it to the
drum as shown in fig. 5.Insert the diffuser
cone H and suction conveyor I (fig. 6).
Using as a dry vacuum cleaner
•To use the appliance as a dry vacuum
cleaner, pour about two litres of water
into the drum. The water should never
reach above the bottom plate (J).
The water filters the dust, preventing it
from being dispersed in the atmosphere.
• Fasten the head back on the drum.
• Attach the hose to the suction port (fig. 7).
To remove, press the locking fins and pull
(fig.8).
• Fit one end of the telescopic tube to the
handgrip and the other to the most suita-

med.
• Plug the appliance into the mains socket and turn on by pressing the ON/OFF switch on the head.
Using as a wet vacuum cleaner
This function enables the appliance to be used to tackle such minor household emergencies as:
- blocked sinks or drains, small floods (washing machine, dishwasher), accidental spills of liquid, refrigerator or freezer defrosting, etc.
Important: The liquid collection drum can contain about 8 litres of water. After this, a device shuts off suction and the motor revolutions increase. The motor must be turned off, the appliance unplugged and the liquid collection drum emptied. Extract the polyurethane filter G from the motor housing
F, dry and replace.
Note: after using the appliance as a dry vacuum cleaner, the drum does not require emptying before wet vacuuming.
•After preparing the appliance (as described for dry vacuuming), plug into the mains and turn on by pressing the ON/OFF switch on the head.
TOOLS
Telescopic tube (fig. 9)
To elongate the tube to the required length, rotate the swivel joint in the direction shown by the symbol and pull out the tube. To fix the tube at the required length, rotate the swivel joint to the position.
Carpet/floor brush (fig. 10)
Efficiently removes dust from floors (marble or tiled), rugs or carpets. When the pedal is pushed towards the "hard floors" symbol ( ), the bristles protrude to clean hard floors more efficiently. This position is recommended for in-depth clea-
ning of floors and for floors with pronounced joints. When the pedal is pushed towards the "carpets" symbol ( ), the bristles retract and the brush is ready to clean fabric surfaces and delicate floors such as parquet, marble, etc.
Crevice tool (fig. 11)
Can be used to collect crumbs, dust and small debris. Perfect for hard-to-reach corners.
Multipurpose nozzle (fig. 12)
Use to clean sofas, upholstery, car interiors, curtains, etc. When cleaning curtains, reduce suction by adjusting the slide on the handgrip to partially or completely close the hole (fig. 15).
Wet vacuum brush (fig. 13)
Designed to vacuum up liquids, this brush has a removable insert with a rubber element which facilitates wet pick-up. To remove the rubber insert, press the two fins on the sides downwards.
Tool trolley (fig. 14).
To put the appliance away, place the tools on the tool trolley.
Mechanical regulation of suction power (fig. 15)
The hose handgrip incorporates a mechanical suction regulator. This enables suction power to be regulated rapidly and practically by simply moving the slide.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Important: before cleaning and maintenance, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains socket.
To guarantee hygiene, after wet vacuuming, rinse the tools by vacuuming up several litres of clean water. This will clean the tools and the inside of the hose. To empty the drum, release the head of the appliance, then remove the cone conveyor, diffuser cone and bottom plate. Empty the drum (fig. 16).

Replace the bottom plate, taking care to push it down until it rests firmly on the base of the drum (fig. 5).
You should always empty the drum each time you use the appliance.
After emptying and rinsing the drum, remove the polyurethane filter, wash with running water and leave to dry. To extend the working life of the filter, keep dry otherwise the filters will deteriorate. Check that the float in the motor housing is free to move by raising the head of the appliance and shaking (fig. 17).
Cleaning the microfilter
The microfilter in the air outlet grill retains dust, pollen etc. To maintain efficiency, it should be replaced every 2/3 months according to use. To replace, remove the grill by pulling upwards (fig. 18).
Remove the exhausted filter and insert the new one, making sure it is hooked correctly in place (fig. 19).
Having positioned the new filter, replace the grill by inserting it from the top and sliding it down with the hand (fig. 20).
To put the appliance away, place the tools on the tool-holder (fig. 14), wrap the cable around the handle and fix with the special clip.
Carpet/floor brush (T)
After using the appliance, make sure no dirt is left on the brush, tubes or castors.
