ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
- Before plugging in the heater, check that the voltage of your domestic supply corresponds to the voltage (V) indicated on the appliance.
- Before using the appliance check that your supply voltage is the same of that shown on the rating label of the unit.
- THIS APPLIANCE CONFORMS TO DIRECTIVE 89/336/CEE GOVERNING RADIO INTERFERENCE, RELATING TO ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY.
INSTALLATION
The appliance can be used on any horizontal support surface. It can also be wall-mounted, proceeding as follows: Drill the holes in the wall, heeding the minimum distances indicated in Fig. 2. Hang the appliance on the wall and fasten it using the third screw at the bottom. Installations in bathrooms must be performed by qualified persons, in compliance with the standards in force; The appliance must be installed outside of the prescribed protective volume (Fig. 3) and in any case away from bathtubs, showers, washbasins, taps, etc.
The appliance must not be positioned directly underneath a fixed power point. OPERATION AND USE Foot switch
This appliance is supplied with a foot switch. After having set the thermostat and the functions as described below (fig.1) , simply press the foot switch to start the appliance. To switch it off, simply press the foot switch again.
IMPORTANT The appliance can only be started when the pedal switch is activated Models with function selector and ambient thermostat
-Turn the thermostat dial fully clockwise to the maximum position
- Summer use: (ventilation only): turn the dial to position
- Reduced power heating: turn the dial (left) to position 1.
- Full power heating: turn the dial (left) to position 2.
- Switching off: turn the dial (left) to position 0.
Models with switch and/or ambient thermostat (if fitted)
-Turn the thermostat dial fully clockwise to the maximum position
- Reduced power heating: press the “ “ switch (the red area is visible on the switch)
- Full power heating: press both switches (the red area is visible on the switch)
- Summer use (ventilation only): turn the thermostat dial (right) fully clockwise to the maximum position, with the two switches in the off
position.
- Switching the appliance off: turn off the switches and turn the thermostat dial anti-clockwise to the minimum position.
The power plug should always be removed when the appliance is not in use.
SETTING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly turn the right thermostat dial (if fitted) clockwise, until the appliance switches off. The thermostat will automatically control and maintain the set temperature constant.
ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION
To switch on the appliace press the foot switch, place the left dial in position 2, or move the switches so that the red area appears, and then place the right thermostat dial in position . The appliance will maintain a minimum room temperature of approximately 5°C thus preventing freezing with a minimum energy consumption.
FLOW DIRECTION THE APPLIANCE CAN BE ADJUSTED AND INCLINED MANUALLY SO AS TO AIM THE FLOW OF AIR IN THE DESIRED DIRECTION
MAINTENANCE
- Always pull the plug out of the power point before cleaning the heater.
- Periodically clean the air intake and outlet grilles during the period in which the heater is in use.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning products or solvents.

CAUTION
- Do not install the heater in humid environments or near showers, bathtubs, sinks, swimming pools etc.
- Always use the heater in an upright position.
- Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overheating).
- The heater must positioned at least 50 cm from furniture or other objects.
- When the appliance is used as a portable heater, do not place it close to walls, furniture, curtains etc.
- The appliance must be installed so that the switches and other controls cannot be reached from a person standing in a bathtub or a shower.
- Do not cover the appliance when in operation as this could cause a fire risk.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4 m
2
in area.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manifactured or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- The appliance is not intended for use by young chilndren or the infirm without supervision young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental overheating (e.g.. obstruction of air intake and outlet grills, motor turning slowly or not at all). Take the heater to on authorised service agent who will reset the device.
