A) If your appliance comes fitted with a plug, it will incorpo-
rate a 13 Amp fuse. If it does not fit your socket, the plug should be cut off from the mains lead, and an appropria­te plug fitted, as below. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
- Before plugging in the heater, check that the voltage of your domestic supply corresponds to the
voltage (V) indicated on the appliance.
- Check that the electrical socket has a rating of 10/16 Amps.
- THIS APPLIANCE COMPLIES WITH EEC DIRECTIVE 89/336, RELATING TO ELECTRO-MAGNE­TIC COMPATIBILITY.
INSTALLATION
The appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance. Portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
FUNCTIONING AND USE
Models with function selector and thermostat Operating the function selector
- Summer use (ventilation only): turn the thermostat dial clockwise to the /6 position.
- Min power operation: turn the function selector dial to position 1 .
- Max power operation: turn the function selector dial to position 2.
- Switching the appliance off: turn the function selector to position “● ” and the thermostat in
the then pull the plug from the electrical outlet.
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the right thermostat knob (where included) in an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the appliance switches off and not beyond. The temperature fixed in this way will be automatically regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.
ANTIFREEZE SERVICE
Turn the left functin selector to setting 2, then turn the right thermostat knob to setting . When it is set in this way the appliance keeps the room at a temperature of approx. 5° C with mini­mal energy expenditure.
Models with function selector only Summer service (ventilation only): turn the function selector to setting . Heating at reduced power: turn the function selector to setting 1. Heating at full power: turn the function selector to setting 2. Switching off: turn the function selector to setting 0.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.
Clean the air inlet/outlet grilles frequently.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
WARNINGS
- Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of showers, bath tubs, wash basins, swimming pools, etc.
- Always use the heater in an upright position.
- Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overhea-
ting).
- The heater must be positioned at least 50 cm from furniture or other objects.
-When the appliance is used in portable version, do not place it up against walls, furniture, curtains, etc.
- Replacement of the feed cable must be entrusted only a technician authorised by the manufacturer, becau-
se such work requires special tools.
- The appliance must not be positioned directly underneath a fixed power point.
- Do not cover the appliance while it is functioning in order to avoid overheating with the attendant risk of
fire.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4 m2in area.
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental overhea- ting (eg. obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.
Important: never cover this appliance in any manner whatsoever while it is ope­rating. To do so would cause a dangerous increase in the temperature of the appliance itself.

RACCORDEMENT AU RESEAU
- Avant de brancher la fiche dans la prise de courant, vérifier attentivement que le voltage de votre
secteur corresponde à la valeur en V indiquée sur l’appareil.
- S’assurer que la prise de courant ait une puissance de 10/16 A.
- Cet appareil est conforme à la Directive 89/336 concernant la compatibilité électromagnétique.
INSTALLATION
Cet appareil ne demande aucune installation, il peut être uniquement utilisé comme un appareil portatif. Les appareils portatifs ne sont pas appropriés pour une salle de bain.
FONCTIONNEMENT ET UTILISATION Modèles avec selecteur de fonctions et thermostat
- Utilisation d’été (ventilation seulement): tourner le bouton du thermostat dans le sens des aiguil-
les d’une montre jusqu’à l’arrêt à la position /6.
- Fonctionnement à puissance Min.: tourner le bouton du sélecteur de fonctions sur la position
1.
- Fonctionnement à puissance Max.: tourner le bouton du sélecteur de fonctions sur la position 2.
- Arrêt : tourner le bouton du sélecteur de fonctions sur la position “● ” et le thermostat sur la posi-
tion ; débrancher ensuite la fiche de la prise de courant.
REGLAGE DU THERMOSTAT
Quand la pièce a atteint la température souhaitée, tourner lentement la manette droite du thermostat (si prévu) dans le sens inverse à celui des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce que l'appareil s'éteigne et pas au-delà. La température ainsi fixée sera automatiquement réglée et maintenue constante par le thermostat.
FONCTION ANTIGEL
Amener le selecteur de fonction (gauche) sur la position 2, tourner ensuite la manette (droite) du thermostat sur la position " ". De cette manière, l'appareil maintient la température de la pièce à environ 5°C avec une consommation minimale d'énergie.
Modèles munis seulement de sélecteur de fonctions
- Fonction été (ventilation uniquement): tourner le selecteur de fonction sur la position " "
- Chauffage à puissance réduite: tourner le selecteur de fonction sur la position 1.
- Chauffage à puissance maximale: tourner le selecteur de fonction sur la position 2.
- Arrêt: tourner le selecteur de fonction (gauche) sur la position 0.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
- Avant d'effectuer tout nettoyage, débrancher toujours la fiche de la prise de courant.
- Nettoyer fréquemment les grilles d'entrée et de sortie de l'air.
- N'utiliser jamais de poudres abrasives ou de solvants.
ATTENTION
- Ne pas utiliser l’appareil tout près de douches, baignoires, éviers, piscines, etc.
- N’utiliser l’appareil qu’en position verticale.
- Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour sécher le linge, ne pas obstruer les grilles d’entrée et de sortie de
l’air (danger de surchauffage).
- Ne laisser aucun meuble ou autre objet à une distance de l’appareil inférieure à 50 cm.
- En utilisant l’appareil en version portative, ne jamais le mettre en service en faisant reposer la par-
tie arrière contre les murs, les meubles, les rideaux etc.
- Le remplacement du cordon d’alimentation doit être effectué exclusivement par un personnel agréé
par le fabricant étant donné que des outils spéciaux sont nécessaires.
- Cet appareil ne doit pas être placé juste au-dessous d’une prise de courant placée à poste fixe.
- Ne jamais couvrir l’appareil pendant le fonctionnement, pour éviter tout risque d’incendie.
- Ne jamais utiliser cet appareil dans une pièce dont la surface de base est inférieure à 4 m
2
.
Un dispositif de sécurité interrompe le fonctionnement du thermoventilateur en cas de surchauffage accidentel (par ex. obstruction des grilles d’entrée et de sortie de l’air, le moteur qui ne tourne pas ou qui tourne lentement). Pour rétablir le fonctionnement, il est nécessaire de débrancher la fiche pendant quelques minutes, supprimer la cause du surchauffage et réinsérer la fiche dans la prise de courant.
Important: Ne jamais couvrir l’appareil pendant son fonctionnement, cela ferait dangereusement monter sa température.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
- Sich vor Anschluß des Netzsteckers vergewissern, daß die Netzspannung der Wohnung mit der
am Gerät angegebenen Betriebsspannung übereinstimmt.
- Sich vergewissern, daß die Steckdose eine Stromfestigkeit von 10/16 Ampere hat.
- DIESES GERÄT ENTSPRICHT DER EU-VORSCHRIFT 89/336 IN BEZUG AUF DIE ELEKTROMA-
GNETISCHE KOMPABILITÄT.
INSTALLATION
Eine Installation oder Montage ist nicht nötig, das Gerät ist tragbar. Tragbare Geräte sind nicht für den Einsatz in Badezimmern geeignet.
BETRIEB UND GEBRAUCH Modelle mit Funktionsschalter und Raumthermostat
- Sommerbetrieb (nur Lüftung): den Funktionsschalter im Uhrzeigersinn auf Position /6 drehen.
- Betrieb bei verminderter Leistung: drehen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf Position 1
- Betrieb bei Höchstleistung: drehen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf Position 2.
- Ausschaltung: drehen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf Position ● und der Thermostat auf Pos. ,
danach den Netzstecker ziehen.
THERMSOTATREGULIERUNG
Wenn im Raum die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht wurde, den Thermostat-Drehschalter rechts (sofern vorgesehen) entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis das Gerät abschaltet und dann nicht weiterdrehen. Die so festgelegte Temperatur wird vom Thermostat automatisch reguliert und konstant beibehalten.
GEFRIERSCHUTZ
Drehen Sie den Drehschalter links in Position 2 un dann, drehen Sie danach den Thermostat-Dreh­schalter rechts in Position . Bei dieser Einstellung hält das Gerät bei niedrigstem Energieverbrauch eine Temperatur von etwa 5°C im Raum aufrecht .
Nur mit Funktionswahlschalter ausgerüstete Modelle
- Sommerbetrieb (nur Ventilation): Stellen Sie den Drehschalter in Position .
- Heizung auf niedrigster Leistungsstufe: Stellen Sie den Drehschalter (links) in Position 1
- Heizung auf höchster Leistungsstufe: Stellen Sie den Drehschalter (links) in Position 2.
- Abschalten: Stellen Sie den Drehschalter (links) in Position 0.
WARTUNG UND PFLEGE
- Vor Beginn einer jeden Reinigungsarbeit stets den Netzstecker ziehen.
- Reinigen Sie regelmäßig die Lufteinlaß- und -austrittsgitter.
- Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine Scheuerpulver bzw. Lösungsmittel.
ZUR BEACHTUNG
- Das Gerät nicht in feuchten Räumen oder in der Nähe von Duschen, Badewannen, Waschbecken,
Schwimmbecken usw. aufstellen.
- Das Gerät stets nur in vertikaler Position benutzen.
- Das Gerät nicht für das Trocknen von Wäsche benutzen, die Lufteintritts- und Luftaustrittsöffnungen
nicht verdecken (Überhitzungsgefahr).
- Das Gerät soll von Möbeln und anderen Gegenständen einen Abstand von 50 cm haben.
- Wenn das Gerät in tragbarer Ausführung verwendet wird, darf es nicht hinter Wänden, Möbeln,
Gardinen usw. in Betrieb gesetzt werden.
- Der Austausch des Versorgungskabels darf nur von Personal ausgeführt werden, das hierzu vom
Hersteller autorisiert wurde, da Spezialwerkzeuge erforderlich sind.
- Das Gerät darf sich nicht unmittelbar unter einer ortsfesten Steckdose befinden.
- Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht abdecken, um Brandgefahren zu vermeiden.
- Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit einer Bodenfläche unter 4 m
2
verwenden.
Eine Sicherheitseinrichtung unterbricht den Betrieb des Heizlüfters bei Überhitzung (z.B. Ver­deckung der Lufteintritts- und Luftaustrittsöffnung, Motor arbeitet nicht oder nur langsam). Für die Wie­derherstellung des Gerätebetriebes sind der Netzstecker zu ziehen und einige Minuten abzuwarten. Die Störungsursache beseitigen und den Netzstecker wieder anschließen.
Wichtig: Das Gerät während des Betriebs auf keinen Fall bedecken, da dies eine gefährliche Temperaturerhöhung desselben zur Folge hätte.

ALLACCIAMENTO ELETTRICO
- Prima di inserire la spina nella presa di corrente verificare attentamente che il voltaggio della
Vostra rete domestica corrisponda al valore in Volt indicato sull’apparecchio.
- Assicurarsi che la presa di corrente abbia una portata di 10/16 Ampere.
- QUESTO APPARECCHIO È CONFORME ALLA DIRETTIVA 89/336/CEE ED AL D.M. 476/92
SULLA COMPATIBILITÀ ELETTROMAGNETICA.
INSTALLAZIONE
L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato solo in versione portatile.
FUNZIONAMENTO ED USO Modelli con selettore funzioni e termostato
- Servizio estivo (solo ventilazione): ruotare in senso orario il termostato fino all’arresto in posi-
zione /6.
- Funzionamento a potenza Min.: ruotare il selettore funzioni in posizione 1 .
- Funzionamento a potenza Max: ruotare il selettore funzioni in posizione 2.
- Spegnimento: ruotare il selettore funzioni in posizione” ● “ e la manopola termostato in posi-
zione quindi togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Regolazione termostato
Quando l’ambiente ha raggiunto la temperatura desiderata, ruotare lentamente la manopola termosta­to dx (se previsto) in senso antiorario fino allo spegnimento dell’apparecchio e non oltre. La tempe­ratura così fissata verrà automaticamente regolata e mantenuta costante dal termostato.
SERVIZIO ANTIGELO
Portare la manopola sx in posizione 2, quindi portare la manopola termostato dx in posizione
. Così impostato l’apparecchio mantiene l’ambiente ad una temperatura di circa 5° C con un mini-
mo dispendio di energia.
Modelli con solo selettore di funzioni
- Servizio estivo (solo ventilazione): ruotare la manopola in posizione
- Riscaldamento a potenza ridotta: ruotare la manopola (sx) sulla posizione 1.
- Riscaldamento a potenza massima: ruotare la manopola (sx) sulla posizione 2.
- Spegnimento: ruotare la manopola (sx) sulla posizione 0.
MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
- Prima di qualsiasi pulizia togliere sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente.
- Pulire frequentemente le griglie di entrata ed uscita dell’aria.
- Non usare mai polveri abrasive o solventi.
AVVERTENZE
- Non utilizzare l’apparecchio nelle immediate vicinanze di docce, vasche da bagno, lavandini,
piscine ecc.
- Usare l’apparecchio sempre e soltanto in posizione verticale.
- Non usare l’apparecchio per asciugare la biancheria, non ostruire le griglie di entrata ed uscita
dell’aria (pericolo di surriscaldamento).
- Per una distanza di 50 cm davanti all’apparecchio non devono esserci mobili od altri oggetti.
- Quando l’apparecchio è usato in versione portatile, non farlo funzionare a ridosso di pareti,
mobili, tende ecc.
- La sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione deve essere fatto da personale autorizzato.
- L’apparecchio non deve essere posto immediatamente sotto una presa di corrente fissa.
- Non coprire l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento, onde evitare surriscaldamenti e rischi d’in-
cendio.
- Non usare questo apparecchio in una stanza la cui area di base è inferiore a 4 m
2
.
Un dispositivo di sicurezza interrompe il funzionamento del termoventilatore in caso di surri- scaldamento accidentale (es. ostruzione delle griglie di entrata ed uscita dell’aria, motore che non gira o gira lento). Per ripristinare il funzionamento, è necessario staccare la spina dalla presa per alcuni minuti, eliminare la causa del surriscaldamento, quindi reinserire la spina.
Importante: non coprire in nessun caso l'apparecchio durante il funzionamento, poiché ciò provocherebbe un pericoloso aumento di temperatura dello stesso .

AANSLUITING OP DE NETSPANNING
- Alvorens de stekker in het stopcontact te steken, dient U er zich van te vergewissen dat het voltage van het
elektriciteitsnet in huis overeenstemt met het voltage dat op het apparaat staat aangegeven.
- Vergewis U ervan of het stopcontact een capaciteit van 10 tot 16 Ampère kan verdragen.
- Deze apparaat overeenkomst met de EG richtlijn 89/336 met betrekking op het elektromagnetische
samenhangen.
INSTALLATIE
Dit apparaat hoeft niet geïnstalleerd te worden. Het mag alleen als een draagbar apparaat gebruikt wor­den. Draagbare apparaten zijn niet geschikt voor gebruik in de badkamer.
FUNCTIONERING EN GEBRUIK Modellen met functieschakelaar en thermostaat
- Zomerstand (ventilatie alleen):draai de thermostaat op de stand /6 .
- Werking met min. vermogen: draai de functieschakelaar op de stand 1 (het controlelampje
ontsteekt).
- Werking met maximumvermogen: draai de functieschakelaar op de stand 2.
- Uitschakelen: draai de functieschakelaar op de stand ● en de thermostaatknop op de stand hier-
na de stekker uit het stopcontact halen.
REGULERING VAN DE THERMOSTAAT
Wanneer in de ruimte de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is, langzaam de thermostaat knop dx (indien aanwezig) tegen de wijzers van de klok indraaien totdat het apparaat afslaat en niet verder. De op deze manier ingestelde temperatuur zal automatisch gereguleerd en in stand gehouden worden door de thermostaat.
ANTIVRIES FUNCTIE
De knop sx op stand 2 zetten, hierna de thermostaat knop dx op stand zetten. Het apparaat op deze manier ingesteld zal de temperatuur in de ruimte op ongeveer 5°C houden met een minimum aan energie verbruik.
Modellen met alleen een functie keuzeknop
- Zomer functie (uitsluitend ventilatie): De knop op stand draaien.
- Verwarming op laag vermogen: De knop (sx) op stand 1 draaien.
- Verwarming op maximaal vermogen: De knop (sx) op stand 2 draaien.
- Uitzetten: De knop (sx) op stand 0 draaien.
ONDERHOUD EN SCHOONMAKEN
-
Voordat men overgaat tot het schoonmaken altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact halen.
- Regelmatig de roosters waardoor de lucht in- en uitgaat schoonmaken
- Nooit schuurmiddelen of oplosmiddelen gebruiken.
OPGELET
- Het apparaat niet gebruiken in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van douches, badkuipen, wasbakken, zwemba-
den, enz.
- Gebruik het apparaat altijd slechts in vertikale positie.
- Gebruik het apparaat niet om wasgoed te drogen, laat de roosters voor de ingang en uitgang van de lucht
niet verstopt raken (gevaar van oververhitting).
- Meubels en andere objecten dienen op tenminste 50 cm afstand van het apparaat te staan.
- Wanneer het apparaat verplaatsbaar gebruikt wordt, het niet al te dichtbij muren, meubels, gordijnen, enz.

- De vervanging van het electriciteitssnoer dient alleen uitgevoerd te worden door door de fabrikant geautori-
seerd personeel omdat hiervoor speciaal gereedschap nodig is.
- Het apparaat moet niet onmiddellijk onder een vast stopcontact worden geplaatst.
- Het apparaat niet afdekken tijdens het functioneren om oververhitting en het risico van brand te voorkomen.
- Gebruik dit apparaat niet in een ruimte waarvan het oppervlak minder dan 4 m
2
is.
Een veiligheidsmechanisme onderbreekt het functioneren van de thermoventilator in geval dat er per ongeluk oververhitting ontstaat (b.v. verstopping van de roosters voor in- en uitgang van de lucht, niet - of langzaam draaiende motor). Om het apparaat weer in werking te stellen, is het noodzakelijk de stekker enkele minuten uit het stopcontact te halen, de oorzaak van de oververhitting weg te nemen, en vervolgens de stekker weer in het stop­contact te steken.
Belangrijk: In geen geval het apparaat tijdens de werking afdekken, omdat dit een gevaarlijke stijging van de temperatuur tot gevolg kan hebben.

CONEXION ELECTRICA
- Antes de enchufar el aparato, asegurarse de que la tensión de la red de electricidad tenga el mismo
valor en V (voltios) que se indica en la placa de datos.
- Cerciorarse de que la toma de corriente tenga una capacidad de 10/16 Amperios.
- Este aparato se ajusta a la directiva CEE 89/336 relativa a la compatibilidad electromagnética.
INSTALACIÓN
Este aparato no necesita instalación. Debe ser utilizado solamente como un aparato portátil. Estos apa­ratos portátiles no son adecuados para uso en los baños.
FUNCIONAMIENTO Y USO Modelos con selector de funciones y termostato ambiente
- Uso de verano (solo ventilación):girar el termostato en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, hasta
que se detenga en la posición /6.
- Funcionamiento con potencia min: girar el selector de funciones en posición 1 (La luz piloto
acende-se).
- Funcionamiento con potencia máx: girar el selector de funciones en posición 2.
- Apagado: girar el selector de funciones en posición ● y el mando del termostato en posición . Al
final desenchufar el aparato.
REGULACIÓN DEL TERMOSTATO
Cuando el ambiente ha alcanzado la temperatura deseada, girar lentamente el cursor termostato der (si está previsto) en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta que el aparato se apague y no más allá. La temperatura fijada de esta manera se regulará y mantendrá constante automáticamente por el termosta­to.
SERVICIO ANTIHIELO
Llevar el cursor izq. a la posición 2, luego llevar el cursor termostato en posición . Plantea­do de este modo, el aparato mantiene el ambiente a una temperatura de aprox. 5°C con un mínimo gasto de energía.
Modelos con solo selector de funciones

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

Antes de cualquier operación de limpieza, desenchufar el aparato.

Limpiar con frecuencia las rejillas de entrada y salida de aire.

No usar nunca polvos abrasivos o solventes.
ADVERTENCIAS
- No utilizar el aparato demasiado cerca de duchas, bañeras, lavabos, piscinas etc.
- Utilizarlo solamente en posición vertical.
- No emplearlo para secar la ropa ni obstruir las rejas de entrada y salida del aire, para evitar que el
aparato se sobrecaliente.
- No dejar muebles ni otros objetos a menos de 50 cm del frontal del aparato.
- Cuando se utiliza el aparato en versión portátil, no hacerlo funcionar detrás de paredes, muebles, cortinas, etc.
- El aparato debe estar instalado de forma que los interruptores y los otros mandos no puedan ser
alcanzados por quien está utilizando la bañera o la ducha
- El reemplazo del cable de alimentación deberá ser realizado por parte de personal autorizado.
- No colocar el aparato inmediatamente debajo de una toma de corriente fija.
- No tapar el aparato durante su funcionamiento para evitar recalentamientos y riesgos de incendio.
- No utilizar el aparato en un local cuya planta sea inferior a 4 m

Un dispositivo de seguridad interrumpe el funcionamiento del termoventilador en caso de sobreca- lentamiento accidental (ej.: obstrucción de las rejas de entrada y salida del aire, motor que no gira o gira despacio). Para restablecer el funcionamiento, desenchufar el aparato por algunos minutos, eliminar la causa del sobrecalentamiento y volverlo a enchufar.
Importante: no cubra en ningún caso el aparato durante el funcionamiento, ya que ello provocaría un aumento peligroso de la temperatura del aparato.
