1. On the end cap where the contacts are
located, remove the two screws that secure
the end cap (Fig. 1).

2. Using a small flat screw driver, release
the locking tab on the bottom side of the
end cap (Fig. 2).

3. Using a small flat screw driver, gently
pry and remove the end cap from the
cartridge (Fig. 3).

4. Remove the two screws that secure the
waste bin to the cartridge (Fig. 4).
5. The waste bin is held in place by a post
that sits in a slot on the end cap. Push the
waste bin up towards the handle to remove
the post from the slot on this end cap. Set the
waste bin to the side (Fig. 5).

6. Remove the two screws that hold the
opposite end cap in place (Fig. 6).

7. Use a small flat screw driver to pry up the
end cap to remove it (Fig. 7).
Set the toner hopper to the side.
8. Remove the two screws that secure the
wiper blade to the waste bin (Fig. 8).
