You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product. These
operating instructions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to safety, use and disposal. Before
using the product, familiarise yourself with all of these operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and
only for the specified areas of application. Retain these instructions for future reference. In addition, pass these operating instructions on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

Intended use
These heatable insoles are intended exclusively for warming the
feet on cold days during extended periods outdoors. They are
intended solely for domestic use, not for commercial applications.
Any use other than that previously described, or a modification
of the insoles, is not permitted and may result in injury and / or
damage to the insoles. The manufacturer assumes no liability for
damages caused by contrary applications. The user alone bears
the liability.

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. Incorrect usage can lead to injuries
and property damage.
Risks from electrical current
DANGER
Observe the following safety instructions
to avoid risks from electrical current:
► Do not use the appliance if the power
adapter, the connection cable or the connector plug is damaged.
► Under no circumstances should you open the
power adapter. There is a risk of receiving an
electric shock if voltage carrying connections
are touched or the electrical and /or mechanical construction is changed.
Interaction with the battery pack
WARNING
The risk of explosions and leakages exists!
For safe handling of battery pack observe the
following safety instructions:
► Do not throw the battery pack into a fire.
► Do not short circuit the battery pack.
► Check the battery pack regularly. Leaking
battery acid can cause permanent damage
to the device. Special care should be taken
when handling a damaged or leaking
battery. Danger from acid burns!
Wear protective gloves.
► Store the battery pack away from children.
► Disconnect the battery pack from the insole if
you do not intend to use it for longer periods.
► The battery packs must be properly disposed
of separately from the insoles.

Basic Safety Instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the
following safety information:
■ Before use, check the insoles, the battery pack
and the power adapter for any externally visible damage. Do not take into
operation an appliance that is damaged or has
been dropped.
■ To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged
cables or connectors to be exchanged by an
authorised specialist or the Customer Service
Department.
■ Check your feet regularly for any redness of
the skin. Too much heat for a long time can
cause burns. Children should therefore use the
product only under adult supervision.
■ This appliance may be used by children aged
8 over and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are
under supervision or have been told how to
use of the appliance safely and are aware of
the potential risks. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
tasks must not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
■ People who can not correctly perceive heat or
cold, such as diabetics and people with disabilities etc, should consult their doctor before
using the insoles.
■ Do not operate the insoles unattended.
■ Protect the insoles and the battery packs
against rain and snow. Should the insoles and
the battery pack becomes wet, allow them to
air dry only.
■ Do not dry the insoles and the battery pack on
the heating, with other sources of heat or with
a hair dryer.

■ Protect the battery packs against moisture and
the penetration of liquids. After attaching the
battery packs to your shoes, they must always
be connected (even when not switched on) to
the insoles when outdoors. Thereby, the penetration of moisture and soiling in the connector sockets or plugs will be avoided.
■ Operate the insoles only with the supplied bat-
tery packs.
■ Use only the supplied power adapter to charge
the battery packs. The power adapter is designed for indoor use and may not be exposed
to moisture.
■ The power adapter is designed for indoor
use and should not be exposed to moisture.
■ In the event of malfunctions or thunderstorms,
remove the plug from the mains power socket.

NOTE
► Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for
visible damage.
► If the delivery is not complete, or is damaged due to defec-
tive packaging or through transportation, contact the Service
Hotline (see chapter Service).
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The
packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their
environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit
saves on raw material and reduces the amount of
waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that
is no longer needed as per the regionally established
regulations.
Before initial use
Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing devices
from the appliance.

► With initial use and for a brief period, a light odour accumu-
lation can occur. This is normal and completely harmless.

Defective or worn-out batteries must be recycled according to Directive 2006/66/EC. All consumers are legally required to dispose
of batteries / cells at a collecting point in their community or at
a retail company. The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries / cells are disposed of in a non-polluting manner. Only
dispose of batteries / cells when they are fully discharged.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of
purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any
way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of
purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This
document will be required as proof of purchase. If any material or
production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for
you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you
presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase
(receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of
occurrence. If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement
of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty
period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after
expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict
quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and
tear or fragile parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or
parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged,
improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the
operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of
the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned
against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases
of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications/
repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised

Elektromos áramütés veszélye
VESZÉLY
Tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági utasításokat,
hogy elkerülje az elektromos áramütés
veszélyét:
► Ne használja a készüléket, ha a vezeték, a
csatlakozókábel vagy a csatlakozó sérült.
► Semmiképpen ne nyissa ki a hálózati táp-
egységet! Áramütés veszélye áll fenn, ha
hozzáér a feszültség alatt álló csatlakozásokhoz, vagy megváltoztatja az elektromos és
mechanikus felépítést.
Az akkumulátor-telep kezelése
FIGYELMEZTETÉS
Robbanásveszély és kifolyás veszélye áll
fenn!
Az akkumulátor-telep biztonságos kezelése
érdekében tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági
utasításokat:
► Ne dobja tűzbe az akkumulátor-telepet!
► Ne zárja rövidre az akkumulátor-telepet.
► Rendszeresen ellenőrizze az akkumulátor-
telepet. A kifolyó akkumulátorsav tartós kárt
okozhat a készülékben. Ha az akkumulátor
sérült vagy kifolyt, különösen óvatosan kezelje.
Vigyázat, maró hatású! Viseljen védőkesztyűt!
► Az akkumulátor-telepet gyermekektől elzárva
tartsa.
► A már hosszabb ideje nem használt talpbe-
tétről le kell venni az akkumulátor-telepet.
► Az akkumulátor-telepeket a talpbetéttől elkü-
lönítve, szakszerűen kell ártalmatlanítani.

Alapvető biztonsági figyelmeztetések
A készülék biztonságos használata érdekében
tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági utasításokat:
■ Használat előtt külső szemrevételezéssel ellen-
őrizze a talpbetétek, az akkumulátor-telep és
a hálózati adapter épségét. Ne működtessen
hibás vagy leesett készüléket.
■ A veszélyek elkerülése érdekében a sérült
hálózati vezetéket vagy csatlakozót azonnal
cseréltesse ki hozzáértő szakemberrel vagy
az ügyfélszolgálattal.
■ Lábán rendszeresen ellenőrizze az esetlegesen
kialakuló bőrpírt. A hosszabb ideig ható, túl
magas fűtőteljesítmény égési sérüléseket okozhat. Éppen ezért felnőttek felügyelete nélkül
gyermekek nem használhatják a terméket.
■ A készüléket 8 éves kor alatti gyermekek és

mellett használhatják, vagy ha felvilágosították
őket a készülék biztonságos használatáról és
megértették az ebből eredő veszélyeket. Gyermekek nem játszhatnak a készülékkel. Tisztítást
és a felhasználó által végzendő karbantartást
felügyelet nélküli gyermekek nem végezhetnek.
■ A hideg és a meleg helyes megkülönbözteté-
sére nem képes személyek - pl. cukorbetegek,
fogyatékkal élők, stb. - a talpbetét használata
előtt kérjék orvosuk tanácsát.
■ Ne használja felügyelet nélkül a talpbetétet.
■ A talpbetétet és az akkumulátor-telepet védeni
kell az esőtől és a hótól. A nedvessé vált talpbetét és akkumulátor-telep kizárólag levegőn
szárítható.
■ A talpbetét és akkumulátor-telep nem szárítha-
tó fűtőtesten, más hőforráson vagy hajszárító
segítségével.

és ne engedje, hogy folyadék jusson bele.
Szabadtéri használata esetén a cipőjére erősített akkumulátor-telepnek - még kikapcsolt
állapotban is - folyamatosan csatlakoznia kell
a talpbetétekhez. Ezzel megelőzhető a nedvesség, illetve a szennyező anyagok csatlakozóaljzatba, vagy -dugóba való bejutása.
■ Csak a mellékelt akkumulátor-teleppel használja
a készüléket.
■ Az akkumulátor-telep feltöltéséhez csak a mel-
lékelt hálózati adaptert használja. A hálózati
adaptert beltéri használatra tervezték, és nem

rajta látható sérülés.
► Hiányos szállítás vagy a nem megfelelő csomagolásból ere-
dő, illetve a szállítás során keletkezett károk esetén forduljon
az ügyfélszolgálathoz (lásd a Szerviz fejezetet).
A csomagolás ártalmatlanítása
A csomagolás védi a készüléket a sérülésektől a szállítás során. A
csomagolóanyagokat környezetbarát és hulladék ártalmatlanítási
szempontok szerint választottuk ki és ezért újrahasznosíthatók.

Nyersanyagot takarít meg és csökkenti a hulladék-
mennyiséget, ha a csomagolást visszajuttatja a nyersanyag-körforgásba. A feleslegessé vált csomagolóanyagot a hatályos helyi előírásoknak megfelelően
helyezze el a hulladékban.
Az első használat előtt
Vegye le a termékről az összes csomagolóanyagot és szállítási
biztosítékot.

► Első használatkor előfordulhat, hogy enyhe szag képződik.

Az akkumulátor-telep feltöltése
Az akkumulátor-telep a mellékelt hálózati adapter segítségével tölthető fel. A készülék biztonságos és hibátlan üzemeltetése
érdekében az elektromos csatlakoztatáskor vegye figyelembe az
alábbi tudnivalókat:
FIGYELEM
► Csatlakoztatás előtt hasonlítsa össze az adattáblán lévő
adatokat (feszültség és frekvencia) az Ön elektromos
hálózatának adataival. Ezeknek az adatoknak meg kell
egyezniük, hogy ne keletkezzen kár a készülékben.
► Győződjön meg róla, hogy a csatlakozókábel nincs megsé-
rülve, és nincs forró és/vagy éles szegélyen átvezetve.
► Ügyeljen arra, hogy a csatlakozókábel ne legyen feszes
vagy ne legyen megtörve.
► Ne hagyja a csatlakozókábelt sarkokról lelógni (felbotolhat
benne valaki).

Ártalmatlanítás
A készülék ártalmatlanítása
Semmi esetre se dobja a készüléket a ház-
tartási hulladékba. A termék a
2012/19/EU számú, WEEE (Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment) európai irányelv
hatálya alá tartozik.
A készüléket engedélyezett hulladékkezelő üzemben, vagy a helyi
hulladékkezelő intézménynél ártalmatlanítsa. Vegye figyelembe a
hatályos előírásokat. Ha bizonytalan, vegye fel a kapcsolatot a
hulladékkezelővel. Az akkumulátor-telepeket a talpbetéttől elkülönítve, szakszerűen kell ártalmatlanítani.
Elemek / akkumulátorok
ártalmatlanítása
Az elemeket / akkumulátorokat nem sza-
bad a háztartási hulladékba dobni.
A hibás vagy elhasználódott elemeket / akkumulátorokat a
2006/66/EC irányelv szerint újra kell hasznosítani. Minden
felhasználó törvényes kötelessége, hogy az elemeket/akkumulátorokat leadja lakóhelye gyűjtőhelyén vagy a kereskedőnél. Ez a
kötelezettség azt a célt szolgálja, hogy az elemek/akkumulátorok
környezetkímélő ártalmatlanításra kerülhessenek. Az elemeket és
akkumulátorokat csak lemerült állapotban adja le.
