operating instructions are a part of this product. They contain im­portant information in regard to safety, use and disposal. Before
using the product, familiarise yourself with all of these operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and
only for the specifi ed areas of application. Retain these instruc­tions for future reference. In addition, pass these operating instruc­tions on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

These heatable insoles are intended exclusively for warming the
feet on cold days during extended periods outdoors. They are
intended solely for domestic use, not for commercial applications.
Any use other than that previously described, or a modifi cation
of the insoles, is not permitted and may result in injury and / or
damage to the insoles. The manufacturer assumes no liability for
damages caused by contrary applications. The user alone bears
the liability.

Safety

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. Incorrect usage can lead to injuries
and property damage.

Risks from electrical current

DANGER

Observe the following safety instructions
to avoid risks from electrical current:

► Do not use the appliance if the power

adapter, the connection cable or the connec­tor plug is damaged.

► Under no circumstances should you open the

power adapter. There is a risk of receiving an
electric shock if voltage carrying connections
are touched or the electrical and /or mechan­ical construction is changed.

Interaction with the battery pack

WARNING

The risk of explosions and leakages exists!

For safe handling of battery pack observe the
following safety instructions:

► Do not throw the battery pack into a fi re.
► Do not short circuit the battery pack.
► Check the battery pack regularly. Leaking

battery acid can cause permanent damage
to the device. Special care should be taken
when handling a damaged or leaking
battery. Danger from acid burns!
Wear protective gloves.

► Store the battery pack away from children.
► Disconnect the battery pack from the insole if

you do not intend to use it for longer periods.

► The battery packs must be properly disposed

of separately from the insoles.

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the
following safety information:

■ Before use, check the insoles, the battery pack

and the power adapter for any externally vis­ible damage. Do not take into
operation an appliance that is damaged or has
been dropped.

■ To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged

cables or connectors to be exchanged by an
authorised specialist or the Customer Service
Department.

■ Check your feet regularly for any redness of

the skin. Too much heat for a long time can
cause burns. Children should therefore use the
product only under adult supervision.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged

8 over and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of expe­rience and knowledge, provided that they are
under supervision or have been told how to
use of the appliance safely and are aware of
the potential risks. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
tasks must not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.

■ People who can not correctly perceive heat or

cold, such as diabetics and people with dis­abilities etc, should consult their doctor before
using the insoles.

■ Do not operate the insoles unattended.

■ Protect the insoles and the battery packs

against rain and snow. Should the insoles and
the battery pack becomes wet, allow them to
air dry only.

■ Do not dry the insoles and the battery pack on

the heating, with other sources of heat or with
a hair dryer.

■ Protect the battery packs against moisture and

the penetration of liquids. After attaching the
battery packs to your shoes, they must always
be connected (even when not switched on) to
the insoles when outdoors. Thereby, the pen­etration of moisture and soiling in the connec­tor sockets or plugs will be avoided.

■ Operate the insoles only with the supplied bat-

tery packs.

■ Use only the supplied power adapter to charge

the battery packs. The power adapter is de­signed for indoor use and may not be exposed
to moisture.

■ In the event of malfunctions or thunderstorms,

remove the plug from the mains power socket.

Initial use

The device is delivered with the following components as standard:

▯ 2 x heatable insoles with integrated heating elements and

connection cables

▯ 2 x Ni-MH battery packs
▯ Power adapter
▯ This operating manual

NOTE

Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for

visible damage.

► If the delivery is not complete, or is damaged due to defec-

tive packaging or through transportation, contact the Service
Hotline (see chapter Service).

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The
packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their
environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit

saves on raw material and reduces the amount of
waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that
is no longer needed as per the regionally established
regulations.

Before initial use

Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing devices
from the appliance.

With initial use and for a brief period, a light odour accumu-

lation can occur. This is normal and completely harmless.

♦ First, select the shoes in which you wish to wear the insoles .

Charging the battery pack

The battery packs are charged via the supplied power adap­ter

. For safe and faultless operation of the appliance with the

electrical connection, observe the following instructions:

IMPORTANT

Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection

data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with that of
your mains power supply. This data must be compatible to
avoid possible damage to the device.

► Ensure that the mains power cable is not damaged and that

it has not been laid over hot surfaces and / or sharp edges.

► Ensure that the mains power cable is not overtaut or kinked.
► Do not let the power cable hang over edges (trip wire eff ect).

♦ Plug the power adapter into a mains power socket. Ensure

that the battery packs

Handling and operation

In this section you receive important information for the handling
and operation of the appliance.

Cleaning

IMPORTANT

►

Protect the insoles and the battery packs against

moisture and the ingress of liquids.

► Do NOT use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical

solvents, otherwise the surfaces may be damaged.

■ Clean the battery packs with a dry lint-free cloth.

■ The insoles should be taken out of the shoes occasionally

and aired.

Storage

■ Disconnect the battery packs from the insoles if you do

not intend to use them for longer periods.

■ Store the insoles and the battery packs in a dry place

away from direct sunlight.

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance

Do not dispose of this appliance in your nor-

mal domestic waste. This product is subject
to European Directive 2012/19/EU WEEE
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case
of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
The battery packs must be properly disposed of
separately from the insoles.

Disposal of batteries /cells

Used batteries / cells may not be disposed of in

household waste. All consumers are legally required
to dispose of batteries / cells at a collecting point in
their community or at a retail company. The purpose
of this obligation is to ensure that batteries / cells are
disposed of in a non-polluting manner. Only dispose
of batteries / cells when they are fully discharged.

With this device you receive a 3 year warranty from the date of
purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and
meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt
as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim please
contact, by telephone, our Service Department. Only in this way
can a post-free dispatch for your goods be assured.

NOTE

The warranty covers only claims for material and manufac-

turing defects, not for transport damages, worn parts or for
damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.

This appliance is intended solely for private domestic use, not for
commercial applications. If this product has been subjected to
improper or inappropriate handling, abuse, or modifi cations not
carried out by one of our authorised sales and service outlets, the
warranty will be considered void.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs eff ected under
warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.

Damages or defects discovered after purchase are to be reported
directly after unpacking, at the latest two days after the purchase
date.

Repairs carried out after lapse of the warranty period are subject

NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO

Należy przestrzegać poniższych wskazó­wek bezpieczeństwa, by uniknąć zagro­żeń spowodowanych działaniem prądu
elektrycznego:

► Urządzenia nie wolno używać, gdy uszkodzo-

ny jest zasilacz sieciowy, przewód zasilający
lub wtyk sieciowy.

► Nigdy nie próbuj otwierać zasilacza. W razie

dotknięcia przyłączy znajdujących się pod
napięciem lub dokonania przeróbek elektrycz­nych i mechanicznych istnieje niebezpieczeń­stwo porażenia prądem elektrycznym.

Obchodzenie się z pakietem akumula­torów

OSTRZEŻENIE

Istnieje niebezpieczeństwo wybuchu i
wycieku niebezpiecznych substancji!

Przestrzegaj następujących wskazówek bezpie­czeństwa dotyczących bezpiecznego obcho­dzenia się z pakietem akumulatorów:

► Nie wrzucaj pakietu akumulatorów do ognia.
► Nie wolno zwierać biegunów pakietu akumu-

latorów.

► Należy regularnie kontrolować pakiet akumu-

latorów. Elektrolit wylany z akumulatora może
spowodować trwałe uszkodzenie urządzenia.
Zachowaj szczególną ostrożność w postępo­waniu z uszkodzonym lub rozlanym akumula­torem. Niebezpieczeństwo poparzenia! Nosić
rękawice ochronne.

► Pakiet akumulatorów trzymaj poza zasięgiem

dzieci.

► Na czas dłuższej przerwy w użytkowaniu

urządzenia, wyjmij pakiet akumulatorów.

► Zużyty pakiet akumulatorów należy prawidło-

wo usunąć oddzielnie od wkładek do butów.

Podstawowe zasady bezpieczeństwa

Mając na uwadze bezpieczne użytkowanie urzą­dzenia, przestrzegaj następujących wskazówek
bezpieczeństwa:

■ Przed użytkowanie skontroluj wkładki do butów,

pakiet akumulatorów i zasilacz sieciowy pod
kątem widocznych zewnętrznych uszkodzeń.
Nie uruchamiaj uszkodzonego ani upuszczo­nego urządzenia.

■ W przypadku uszkodzenia kabli lub przyłą-

czy, zwróć się do autoryzowanego serwisu
lub działu obsługi klienta w celu dokonania
wymiany tych części na nowe, aby uniknąć
wszelkich zagrożeń.

■ Regularnie kontroluj stopy pod kątem zaczer-

wienienia skóry. Zbyt wysoka moc grzewcza
przez dłuższy czas może spowodować po­parzenia. Dlatego dzieci powinny korzystać
z urządzenia tylko pod nadzorem dorosłych.

■ To urządzenie może być używane przez dzieci

od 8 roku życia oraz przez osoby o zmniejszo­nych zdolnościach fi zycznych, sensorycznych
lub umysłowych lub też osoby nieposiadające
odpowiedniego doświadczenia i/lub wiedzy,
wyłącznie pod nadzorem lub po przeszkoleniu
w zakresie bezpiecznego używania urządzenia
oraz wynikających z niego zagrożeń. Dzieci
nie mogą bawić się urządzeniem. Czyszczenie
i konserwacja przez użytkownika nie mogą być
wykonywane przez dzieci bez nadzoru.

■ Osoby, które nie odczuwają poprawnie ciepła

lub zimna, jak np. diabetycy, osoby upośle­dzone itp., przed korzystaniem z urządzenia
powinny zasięgnąć porady lekarskiej.

■ Nie pozostawiać działających wkładek do

butów bez odpowiedniego nadzoru.

■ Wkładki do butów i pakiet akumulatorów należy

chronić przed deszczem i śniegiem. Jeżeli wkład­ki do butów i pakiet akumulatorów zamokną,
należy je suszyć wyłacznie na powietrzu.

■ Nie suszyć wkładek do butów ani pakietu aku-

mulatorów na grzejnikach ani innych źródłach
ciepła, ani też suszarką do włosów.

■ Chroń pakiet akumulatorów przed wilgocią

i przedostaniem się do środka płynów. Gdy
pakiety akumulatorów są zamocowane do
butów, muszą one być podłączone na otwartej
przestrzeni do wkładek do butów, nawet jeśli
nie są włączone. Unika się w ten sposób wni­kania wilgoci lub zanieczyszczeń do gniazd
przyłączeniowych lub wtyków.

■ Urządzenia należy używać tylko z dostarczo-

nym pakietem akumulatorów.

■ Do ładowania pakietu akumulatorów korzystaj

wyłącznie z dostarczonego zasilacza wtyczko­wego. Zasilacz wtyczkowy jest przewidziany
do stosowania tylko wewnątrz pomieszczeń
i nie powinien być narażony na działanie
wilgoci.

■ W przypadku usterek lub podczas burzy

zawsze wyjąć zasilacz wtyczkowy z gniazda
zasilania.

Po rozpakowaniu nowego urządzenia sprawdź, czy w środ-

ku znajdują się wszystkie części oraz czy nie ma żadnych
widocznych uszkodzeń.

► W przypadku niekompletnej dostawy, bądź wystąpienia

uszkodzeń wskutek wadliwego opakowania lub transportu
skontaktuj się z infolinią serwisową (patrz rozdział Serwis).

Utylizacja opakowania

Opakowanie chroni urządzenie przed uszkodzeniami podczas
transportu. W trosce o ochronę środowiska, wszystkie zastosowa­ne elementy opakowania mogą zostać poddane recyklingowi.

Zwracanie opakowania do obiegu materiałów

oszczędza surowce naturalne i zmniejsza zanieczysz­czenie odpadami. Zbędne materiały opakowania
utylizować zgodnie z miejscowo obowiązującymi
przepisami.

Przed pierwszym użyciem

Usuń z urządzenia całe opakowanie i wszystkie zabezpieczenia
transportowe.

Przycinanie wkładek do butów

UWAGA

Element grzejny znajduje się w rejonie palców stóp.

► W żadnym przypadku nie należy ciąć w rejonie symbolu

ostrzegawczego , gdyż mogłoby to spowodować uszko­dzenie elementu grzejnego.

♦ Najpierw wybierz buty, w których chcesz nosić podgrzewane

wkładki
do butów
wany od zimna, tym dłużej można korzystać z podgrzewania
przy jednym ładowaniu akumulatorów.

♦ Znaki cięcia dla różnych rozmiarów butów są nadrukowa-

ne na spodzie wkładek i stanowią tylko wielkość orientacyjną
dla dopasowania wkładek.

♦ Najpierw należy przyciąć wkładki na rozmiar nieco większy,

niż faktycznie potrzebny. Faktycznie potrzebny rozmiar należy
ustalić za pomocą innej, używanej wkładki.

♦ Należy ciąć wzdłuż znaków cięcia i dopasować indywidu-

alnie wkładkę

WSKAZÓWKA

Wkładka w stanie końcowym powinna w miarę możliwo­ści wypełniać całą podeszwę i nie dać się przesuwać.

. Uwzględnij przy tym, że podgrzewane wkładki

mają grubość ok. 4 mm, a im lepiej but jest izolo-

na pięcie i po bokach do rozmiaru stóp.

Ładowanie pakietów akumulatorów

Pakiety akumulatorów ładuje się za pomocą zasilacza
wtyczkowego
i bezawaryjnej pracy urządzenia należy podczas podłączania
urządzenia przestrzegać następujących wskazówek:

Przed podłączeniem urządzenia należy porównać dane

na tabliczce znamionowej urządzenia (napięcie i często­tliwość) z danymi sieci elektrycznej. Dane te muszą być
zgodne, aby nie doszło do uszkodzenia urządzenia.

► Należy się upewnić, że kabel sieciowy nie jest uszkodzony

i nie przebiega przez gorące powierzchnie i/lub ostre
krawędzie.

► Należy uważać, aby kabel połączeniowy nie był silnie

naprężony ani zagięty.

► Kabel sieciowy nie powinien zwisać tak, by mógł spowodo-

wać potknięcie.
