This product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12
months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt which will be
required as proof of purchase.
This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or
tampered with in any way, or not used for the purpose for which it was
intended.
Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product can
be returned to us without prior permission.
This guarantee does not effect your statutory rights.

1. Do not refill with gas or store near open flames, heaters or combustible
materials.
2. Only use high quality Butane gas.
3. Butane gas is highly flammable, please handle with care.
4. Do not drop, puncture, or incinerate.
5. Do not store or operate where the temperature is above 50

7. Let the soldering iron cool down before replacing the cap and storing.
8. Do not try to overfill the tank.

GAS FILLING AND REFILLING
1. Make sure that the Switch is
turned to the ‘OFF’ position
before filling.
2. Hold the unit upside down
vertically and insert the gas
containers nozzle into the filling
valve.
3. When gas escapes from the filling
valve, remove the nozzle.
IGNITION
1. Move the flow control valve to the
middle position
2. Move the switch upwards and to
the right.
3. Press down on the ignition button
to light the unit.
NOTE: When the unit is being used
for soldering you will notice
that the soldering head
glows red.

FLAME LENGTH OR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
1. After ignition, slide the flow control
valve:
• To the right to increase the
flame length or the
temperature of the soldering tip
or hot air,
• To the left to decrease the
flame length or the
temperature.
OPERATING TIPS
1. AFTER FILLING OR REFILLING WITH GAS WAIT FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES
SO THAT THE GAS IN THE CYLINDER STABALISES.
2. The soldering tip must be tin plated before using for the first time. A thin
layer of solder should be applied to the tip once it is hot.
3. Soldering should NOT be carried out on “live” circuits, as this soldering unit
does not possess any electrical insulation.
4. Keep the soldering sponge damp.
SHUTTING OFF

• The switch will return to the
“OFF” position

HOW TO FIT OR REPLACE ACCESSORIES
REPLACE THE SOLDERING TIPS
1. Place the 7mm wrench onto the soldering tip or hot blower head and
the 8mm wrench on the soldering head, Hold the 8 mm wrench in
place. Turn the 7 mm wrench:
• Clockwise to tighten
• Anti-clockwise to loosen.

CONVERT THE UNIT TO OPEN FLAME TORCH
1. Unscrew the nut.
2. Remove the guard and soldering head,
• This unit then becomes an open flame torch.
