ENGINEERING MASTERPIECE. With

460 horsepower

and 465 lb.-ft. of torque,

the Stingray LT1 V8 offers 0-to-60 times of

3.7 seconds with the available Z51 Performance Package and available 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. Compact engine design lowers the hoodline and vehicle center of gravity.

PADDLE-SHIFT AUTOMATIC. The available

8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission offers smooth control with quick, precise shifts that rival its dual-clutch competitors. You can override the automatic with the paddles and take over with full manual control.

MAGNETIC SELECTIVE RIDE CONTROL.™ For

2016, this sophisticated suspension option is available on all models. The advanced third-generation technology stiffens the suspension for high-performance driving without sacrificing a smooth ride. It includes larger wheels and a spoiler when ordered without the Z51 Performance Package.

THREE-PART POWER. A trio of innovative technologies rarely seen in any elite

sports car — Direct Injection, Variable Valve Timing and Active Fuel Management™ — combine revolutionary power with fuel efficiency.

DIRECT INJECTION. This technology moves the point where fuel feeds into the

engine closer to the point where it ignites, enabling greater combustion efficiency. Direct Injection provides a more complete burn of the fuel in the fuel-air mixture, so less fuel is required to deliver the equivalent horsepower of a conventional port injection fuel system.

VARIABLE VALVE TIMING. This advanced technology optimizes camshaft timing

to improve high-rpm horsepower and low-end torque. An intelligent position sensor detects engine operating conditions and adjusts the timing of intake and exhaust valves.

PERFECTLY BALANCED

ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT (AFM). AFM temporarily deactivates four cylinders

and seamlessly reactivates them when the driver demands full power. When cylinders are deactivated, real-world fuel economy improvement is realized.

The transition is virtually imperceptible.

7-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH ACTIVE REV MATCHING. The Active

Rev Matching technology provides a signal from the transmission to the engine controller. With this information, the engine rpm is controlled to better match the next gear selection, which enhances drivability.

OIL-SPRAY PISTON COOLING. In this high-performance application, eight

oil-spraying jets in the engine block drench the underside of each piston and the surrounding cylinder walls with an extra layer of cooling, friction-reducing oil. The oil spray reduces piston temperature, promoting long-term durability.

PERFORMER.

ALUMINUM AND CARBON FIBER contribute to a

near 50/50 weight distribution and an enhanced power-to-weight ratio for optimal handling and acceleration. One-third the weight of steel, the latest-generation Corvette aluminum space frame is 100 pounds (45 kilograms) lighter and 57% more rigid than its steel predecessor.

PERFORMANCE EXHAUST. Available on Stingray, the performance exhaust system

increases horsepower from 455 to 460. The system provides a more aggressive exhaust note and features polished stainless steel tips.

Included in the available Z51 Performance Package, the intelligent Electronic Limited-Slip Differential continuously modulates torque split to improve traction and acceleration out of corners, enhancing stability on the highway and steering turn-in responsiveness.

PERFORMANCE TRACTION MANAGEMENT.

With this system, five separate settings of torque reduction and brake intervention facilitate maximum grip on the road for more confident driving. Requires available Z51 Performance Package and Magnetic Selective Ride Control.

RACETRACK-PROVEN BREMBO BRAKES.

Ventilated 4-piston Brembo® brakes are standard on all Stingray models. The available Z51 Performance Package includes larger

13.6-inch front rotors with slotted discs and 13.3-inch rears.

Call it a close link. Z06, codeveloped with the Corvette C7.R race car, is the fastest, most powerful production Corvette ever. With the available Z07 Performance Package and 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, Z06 will sprint to 60 mph in 2.95 seconds and run the quarter-mile in 10.95 seconds.

SHARED ALUMINUM FRAME. The ultra-high-

strength, lightweight aluminum frame used on Stingray and Z06 formed the basis for the Corvette C7.R race car frame — only minor modifications were made, including the addition of the mandated roll cage.

TENACIOUS GRIP. Z06 is further differentiated

from the Stingray with flared fenders that accommodate larger, wider wheels and tires for more grip, enabling Z06 equipped with the available Z07 Performance Package to achieve

generate incredible downforce for cornering grip and stability. Compared with the Stingray, rear fenders are widened by 80 mm and the front by 56 mm, creating a more aggressive stance and enhanced handling. Plus, Z06 comes standard with larger Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport ZP summer-only tires.

SUPER-TUNED SUPERCAR.

650 HP. Z06 is powered by the LT4 6.2L

supercharged aluminum V8 delivering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It incorporates an efficient next-generation supercharger, as well as a dry-sump oil system and titanium intake valves for reduced mass.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY.

While advanced engine technologies enable supercar performance, Corvette engineers have managed to increase LT4 fuel efficiency by leveraging the same trio of advanced technologies introduced on the Corvette Stingray powertrain: Direct Injection, Active Fuel Management and Variable Valve Timing. Z06 is available with either a 7-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching or an 8-speed paddle-shift automatic.

THIS CORVETTE READS ROAD AND TRACK.

With the turn of a dial, everything changes. The available Driver Mode Selector allows you to easily customize your driving experience. By selecting one of five distinct driver modes — Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport and Track — your Stingray or Z06 controls the complexity of up to 12 performance variables.

WEATHER MODE. In inclement weather, the

vehicle senses and adapts to road conditions, distributing appropriate power to the rear wheels. Tailored Traction Control and throttle progression promote more confident driving in rain or snow.

ECO MODE. To reduce engine workload and

conserve fuel, Fuel Management to limit power when traveling at cruising speeds. Fuel economy is automatically optimized until aggressive acceleration is called for.

Eco Mode maximizes Active

TOUR MODE. Tour Mode is the default setting

for everyday driving that enhances comfort. The customizable gauge cluster can display audio, navigation and phone data.

SPORT MODE. Optimized for spirited driving,

steering effort and Magnetic Selective Ride Control damping are stiffened but tempered. The exhaust note becomes more aggressive.

TRACK MODE. Designed for legitimate race

settings, Track Mode enables launch control to provide maximum off-the-line acceleration. Steering effort and Magnetic Selective Ride Control damping adjust to supply maximum responsiveness. Performance Traction Management optimizes for track performance. Gauge configuration offers a GTLM (GT Le Mans) Corvette Racing-inspired display complete with shift lights and lap timer. The lap timer is linked to the available Performance Data Recorder, if equipped.

CAPTURE THE EXCITEMENT. Record, share and

analyze your driving experiences on and off the track with the available award-winning Performance Data Recorder (PDR). Add an extra dimension to the Corvette experience by logging video of your drives, along with real-time performance data, onto an SD memory card stored in the glove box. Four modes allow you to capture video, audio (except in Valet Mode), driving stats, date and time, and much more. Previously available only to race engineers, this tool makes you a better driver and helps you get the most out of your Corvette.

FOUR SELECTABLE OVERLAY MODES.

Track Mode overlays the maximum level of data onto your drive video, including speed, rpm, throttle and braking, g force, locationbased track map, lap times and more. Sport Mode shows fewer details, but includes key data such as speed and g force. Performance Mode records 0-to-60 mph acceleration, quarter-mile speed and elapsed time, as well as 0-to-100-to-0 mph runs. For everyday driving and scenic road trips, Touring Mode has no data overlay.

TOOLBOX. You can analyze your driving

technique using Cosworth Toolbox software that can be downloaded from the Corvette website. Developed by the same motorsports engineering company that supplies the Corvette Racing data acquisition and telemetry system, the Cosworth Toolbox software lets you comb through performance and lap metrics with a race-derived program that acts as a virtual driving coach. You can even pull in a hot lap from another driver — one of your buddies or even a pro — and analyze it side by side with yours.

ANALYZE YOUR DRIVE. Data is captured using

a seamlessly integrated, windshield-mounted HD camera module, as well as a performance processor, internal accelerometers and a GPS system. Play your video back on a computer or tablet, or relive your drive right inside your Corvette (when stopped, of course) on the 8-inch diagonal touch-screen.

VALET MODE. Keep tabs on your Corvette

when you’re not the driver by setting the PDR to Valet Mode, which can record outside forward video and data.

CRAFTSMANSHIP IS NOT A LOST ART.

HAND-STRETCHED LEATHER. Napa leather,

available on the 3LT trim level, is a testament to the finely crafted Corvette interior. Free from imperfections, its natural grain dismisses the notion of synthetic textures. A hand-stretched, leather-wrapped instrument panel swathed and sewn to meticulous fit and finish is included on 3LT and 3LZ, and lightweight aluminum accents adorn doors, pedals, shifter and cockpit instrumentation.

PADDLE-SHIFT CONTROL. Paddles initiate

Active Rev Matching on the 7-speed manual transmission or manual shifting on the available 8-speed paddle-shift automatic.
