Features:
• The EFVA series Corridor Fire/Smoke Dampers have been designed and tested to exceed all UL, ULC and NFPA requirements for fire dampers as well as smoke dampers.
• EFVA is UL 555 listed and labeled as a fire damper.
• UL listed for horizontal mounting.
• UL 555S listed and labeled as a Leakage Class I rated Smoke Damper with airflow in both directions. Class I provides for a max. leakage of 8 cfm per sq. ft. at 4.0 inches static pressure.

Sleeved dampers are furnished approximately same size as given
duct dimensions, unless otherwise noted.

PERFORMANCE DATA
Pressure drop testing was done by an independent laboratory to the AMCA Standard 500-D, Fig. 5.3 ductwork upstream and downstream.

Suggested Specifications:
Corridor Dampers shall be Model EFVA by the Carnes Company. Corridor Dampers shall bear the Underwriters’ Laboratories label for “Corridor” dampers and have a minimum 1 hour fire rating and a minimum Class I leakage rating with a maximum leakage of 8 cfm per sq. ft. at 4.0 inches static pressure for any size. Linkage shall be of the concealed type for maximum free area.
• The EFVA series Corridor Dampers have been designed and tested to exceed all UL, NFPA, UBC and City of Los Angeles requirements for corridor dampers installed in tunnel corridor ceiling constructions.
• UL 555 listed and labeled as a 1 hour fire damper.
