BACKGROUND OF DEVELOPMENT/FEATURES
1. Background of Development
Canon takes part in the 60-cpm machine market with the NP6060/ NP6062. The five years since its introduction and the participation by the competition in the market, however, have made competition much tougher than before. The NP6260 has been developed against such a background, and the machine is a 60-cpm model designed on the NP6050 but with a higher process speed.
2. Expected Life
The life of the NP6260 is estimated at 3,000,000 copies (or 5 years, whichever is earlier).

The recommended copying volume varies from sales area to sales area. Be sure to contact the Sales Company of your area.

3. Recommended Copying V olume (CV)
The recommended copying volume (CV) for the NP6260 is 150,000 copies maximum.
4. Specifications
a. It has a copying speed of 60 copies/min (A4, LTR)
In stream reading mode,
NP6260 65 copies/min (A4, LTR) c. It uses a new type of cassette. d. It holds a large volume of copy paper.
Japanese model :5,750 sheets (w/ Paper Deck-A1)
non-Japanese model :7,650 sheets (w/ Paper Deck-A1)
5. Others
a. It uses a copyboard glass as thick as 4 mm. b. It has an additional key (Contrast adjustment of LCD) on its control
panel.
6. Improvements on the NP6050

1. Types of Chemical/Plastic Durab les
a. Photosensitive Drum
The photosensitive drum is a new type of drum, and it is not compat­ible with other types. The drum is expected to provide a life of 3,000,000 copies.
b. Toner
A single bottle contains 1.5 kg of toner, good for 30,000 copies (A4) of a 6%-line original. Although the composition of the toner is the same as that used in the existing models, the toner supply mouth has a different shape.
2. Types of T ransfer Media
The types of transfer media are the same as those of the existing models.
