TION PROCEDURE
Unpack the shipping box, and check to be sure that none of the following is missing:

2 Installation
Observe the following for the installation of the
inner 2-way tray:
1. Be sure that the host machine has properly been
installed.
2. Be sure that the power plug of the host machine
is disconnected.
3. Be sure to identify the screws by type (length,
diameter) and location.
1. Preparing the Copier
1) Disconnect the power plug from the power
outlet.
2) Open the multifeeder tray [1], and pull out the
grip [2] to draw out and detach the left cover
[3].

4) Holding the grip [5], slide out the toner
cartridge or the drum unit [6] to detach.

Protect the photopositive drum with a
protective bag or a clean cloth to keep
out the light.

3) In the case of a drum unit type, open the front
cover, and turn the drum unit releasing lever [4]
to release the engagement.
5) Open the front cover, remove the 2 screw [7],
and remove the left front cover [8]. Then,
detach the delivery upper cover [9]. (The
removed delivery upper cover will no longer be
used.)

6) Free the two hooks [10], and pull the
multifeeder tray [11] toward the lower front to
detach.

9) Remove the 2 screws [16], and detach the
delivery tray [17].

7) Remove the 3 screws [12], and detach the left
rear cover [13].

8) Remove the 5 screws [14], and then, detach the
right cover [15].

10) Remove the 2 screws [18], and detach the
grounding wire [19] and the fixing connector
fixing plate [20].

11) Disconnect the 3 connectors [21] from the
fixing connector fixing plate, and free the
harness [22] from the harness guide.
