magnification and longest focal length in its class, for maximum versatility and enhanced
creative expression. Combining Canon’s innovative optical design and cutting-edge optical
simulation technology, it maintains excellent camera balance in terms of overall length and
weight, whilst also delivering a higher specification.
Shortest minimum object distance (MOD) in its class*
The HJ18ex7.6B captures a wide variety of scenes thanks to an MOD of 0.56m - the shortest
in its class – and a widest angle setting of 7.6 mm. It offers increased mobility and flexibility
for camera operators and crews and allows shooting under almost any conditions, including
in tight spaces.
Compact and lightweight
Compact and lightweight, the HJ18ex7.6B lens has a total length of 206.2 mm, and weighs just
1.58 kg (IRSE), for enhanced mobility and operator comfort.
