INSTALLING MULTI-OUTPUT TRAY-D1

Upon shipment from the factory, some of the MULTI- OUTPUT TRAY-D1 fixing screws have
untapped holes. This is to de scribe the fi eld fix and countermeasure.

< FIELD FIX >
When mounting the M ULTI-OUTPUT TRAY -D1, the hinge (FB4-3791-000: Part s calatog ue FY8­31CK-020 Q 10-3) is attached to the copier mai n unit, but due to a mistake dur ing assembly, some
were shipped out with screw s that have untapped holes. The field fix i s as follows:

Remove t he RS tight screw that secures the Front Left Cover (FB4-3233) and use it to ta p t he screw
hole in the location shown in the diagram below.

Then, mount the MULTI-OUTPUT TRAY-D1 hinge.
