Massage Chair. Before you start using the uDivine Massage Chair, please read
this operation manual thoroughly for the correct methods of usage, especially
taking note of the section on safety.

One (1) Year Limited WarrantY

Brookstone warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal useforaperiodofONE(1)YEARfromthedateofpurchasebytheoriginalpurchaser(“WarrantyPeriod”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or

3)	provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product.
A	replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance

with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original

product. When	a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your
property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property. When		a store credit
is given, the	original product must be returned to Brookstone	and becomes
Brookstone’s property.

Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 877-435-6332. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions.

Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Brookstone products. Manufacturers or suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser, but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’s use or the installation of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Brookstone; d) accessories used in conjunction with a covered product; e) a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; f) items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; g) any product sold “as is” including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or h) a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.

Notes	IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
	When using the massage chair, basic precautions should always be followed,
	including the following:
	Read all instructions before using this massage chair.
	DANGER– To reduce the risk of electric shock:
	1.	Always unplug this massage chair from the electrical outlet immediately after
		using and before cleaning.
	2.	Never use pins or other metallic fasteners with this appliance.
	3.	Carefully examine the covering before each use. Call for service if the
		covering shows any sign of deterioration, such as blistering, peeling or cracking.
	4.	Keep dry—Do not operate in a wet or moist condition.

WARNING– To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons: 1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

2. A massage chair should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from the outlet when it is not in use and before putting on or taking off parts.

3. Close supervision is necessary when this massage chair is used by or near children or disabled persons. Keep children away from reclining backrest and extended leg rest.

4. Use this massage chair only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

5. Never operate this massage chair if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Contact Brookstone Customer Service at 866-336-3199.

6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

7. Never operate the massage chair with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.

8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening. 9. Do not use outdoors.

10. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

11. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove the plug from the outlet.

12. Do not stand on or in the massage chair. Use only while seated.

13. The product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a

person responsible for their safety.

1.Usage Environment

•Do not use the uDivine in an excessively humid or dusty environment as this may result in malfunction or electric shock.

•Do not use the uDivine in a room with a temperature of 104° F or higher.

•Do not expose the uDivine to heaters, stoves or direct sunlight.

•place and use the uDivine on an even, non-slip floor.

•the uDivine is designed for home use and not for commercial purposes.

Caution

•the uDivine is to be used indoors only.

•if you use the uDivine in a cold room, do not increase the room temperature abruptly. it is recommended that you increase the temperature gradually to a normal level.

•if the uDivine is stored in a cold place and is being brought into a warm environment, it is advisable to wait one hour before use. this is because its performance may not be at optimum level, as there may be water droplets on the mechanical parts due to condensation. using the uDivine under such conditions may result in malfunction.

2.Safety Precautions

•To ensure safe and correct use of the uDivine, do not operate it without reading this operation manual carefully.

•Do not use the uDivine when the upholstery or seat is removed. This may cause injury or malfunction.

•Do not use the uDivine in combination with other therapeutic equipment or electric blanket, etc., as this may result in ineffectiveness or injury.

•Do not use the uDivine an hour before or after eating as this may have adverse effects on the user.

•Do not allow children or pets to play around the uDivine, e.g., behind the backrest, under the seat or leg rest of the uDivine. This may result in injury.

•Do not rest or place heavy objects on the armrests, leg rest or backrest as this may result in malfunction or injury.

•Do not use the uDivine when your body is wet.

•Do not operate the uDivine with wet hands.

•It is not recommended to use the massage for more than 15 minutes.

•Do not perform continuous massage on the same spot of your body for more than 5 minutes at a time as this may result in excessive stimulation and may have adverse effects.

•Do not insert your hand or foot along the paths of the massage rollers during use as this may cause injury.

•Stop operation immediately if you experience any discomfort.

•This product is not intended for self-treatment of conditions that should be managed by a qualified health care provider.

•People on medication or with medical conditions, please consult your doctor before use. Please do not use the product if you are not feeling well.

•Remove all scarves, neckties, necklaces and jewelry before using the massager.

3.People with Medical Conditions

Consult your doctor before use if you:

•are under medical rest as ordered by a doctor.

•have spinal disorders, an abnormal spinal condition or have suffered a spinal injury.

•have back problems.

•have diabetes, osteoporosis or sensory impairment.

•The uDivine is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the uDivine by a person responsible for their safety.

•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the uDivine.

•Avoid using the uDivine under the influence of alcohol.

•Do not apply massage rollers directly on the head, elbow or knee joints, torso or abdomen.

•If your legs or feet slip off the leg rest during massage, do not force them back in as this may result in injury.

•Remove the power plug from the electrical outlet immediately should liquid be accidentally spilled onto the uDivine. Do not use wet hands to connect or disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.

•Do not tamper with the power cord or use the uDivine with a damaged cord as this may result in malfunction and electric shock.

4.Instances when the uDivine Should Not Be Used

In the following events, please switch off the main power switch immediately and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet:

•If water is accidentally spilled onto the uDivine. This may result in electric shock or malfunction.

•If the fabric of the backrest is torn and the internal components are exposed.

•If pain or discomfort is felt during massage, stop operation immediately and consult your doctor.

•If you detect any malfunction or any other abnormal condition during operation.

•If there is a power failure. Injury may occur when power is restored unexpectedly.

•If there is lightning.

5.Assembly and Repair of the uDivine

•Do not disassemble the backrest cover of the uDivine. Touching the internal components may result in malfunction or electric shock.

•The uDivine must only be professionally serviced or repaired. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the uDivine yourself.

Troubleshooting

Error codes

An icon or error code will appear on the LCD screen if any of the following happen:

] button may have being pressed accidentally. Press the [

again to resume massage.

The cover of the Safety Release Knob is open. Close the cover and the

footrest massage will resume.

The footrest massage unit is not in operation position or retract position.

Extend the footrest massage unit by pressing the [

] button until the icon

disappears and the footrest massage function will resume.

LCD returns

to ‘Main Menu’ The backrest bottom panel is being depressed by some obstacle. Remove the obstacle and re-start the program.

Error code #15 The product is overheating. Turn off the main switch and let the product cool down for at least 30 minutes before using again.

Other error codes Turn off the main switch and re-start the program. If the problem persists, please turn off the main switch and contact Brookstone Customer Service.
