Protective cover
Before use, remove the plastic cover by standing the universal blade with the cover on the table and pressing the knob downwards until the protective cover loosens (A). The universal blade can only be placed into the food processor bowl 4 without its cover (B).
After use, replace the cover by standing the universal blade on the table. The symbol on the cover must be over the higher part of the universal blade.

Slip the protective cover over the knob and hold the cover with one hand. Pull the knob hard with the other hand until the universal blade engages with the cover (C).
Caution! The universal blade is very sharp – only take hold of it by the plastic knob. Place all ingredients into the food processor bowl after attaching the universal blade. Liquid ingredients may be added through the filling tube while the motor is running. After use, always remove the universal blade before removing the processed food.
Blending soups, milk-shakes etc.
Speed: 7–14, appr. 30 seconds At maximum capacity of 2 l use speed 8 (to avoid risk of frothing over). Shakes (maximum 1.5 l): cut fruits, fill in and pre-mix at speed 14, then add liquid at speed 7 and mix (please note that milk easily frothes over when mixed; use lower quantity accordingly).

Lid
For cleaning, remove the seal from the inside of the lid. Please replace the dry seal so that the plastic clips in the lid fit into the groove of the seal (H).

Glass liquidiser goblet 8
Remove the blade as described above. To disassemble the goblet (J), first turn it upside down, reach into it with one hand and hold the plastic base of the drive shaft.
Then, using the pusher, unscrew the fastening of the bottom by turning anti-clockwise (D). Take off the screw fastening (a), the plastic ring (b) and the goblet (c) one after the other, so that finally, you only hold the drive shaft (e) with bottom and seal (d) in your hand.
To re-assemble, please proceed in the reverse order (K): Place the seal onto the lower side of the drive shaft bottom. Turn the goblet upside down and place the opening in the goblet bottom over the seal on the drive shaft bottom. Please, be careful not to dislocate the seal. Place the plastic ring (b) onto the goblet bottom so that the projection on the plastic ring engages with the groove in the bottom of the goblet (next to handle).
