Please insert the micro SD card in the right
direction to avoid damage to the card or the
device. If device shows error message, please
format the micro SD card from device menu.
Please reset device or change micro SD card
if similar error continues.
Note : All les will be deleted when formatting
micro SD card, please backup the important
les before format. When reset function is
selected, the settings will return to default
setting.
Recommended micro SD : CLASS 10 or above
micro SD card. Micro SD card specication
varies from one brand to another, which may
not function as expected when using with
device. Please test for micro SD compatibility
before purchasing micro SD.
Micro SD card must be formatted before
using with the device. Backup recording les
once a week to avoid les from being
overwritten.
Ensure bracket is installed correctly & rmly
on windscreen to avoid damage to device
and for better recording angle.
Battery life-span will continuously decrease
upon usage. Please charge battery once
every month to preserve battery life in the
event of long-term non-usage.
Please do not use product under wet
environment as device is not waterproofed/
water resistant.
Please do not record or take picture facing
sunlight.
To obtain clear image, please clean
windscreen and device lens regularly. Avoid
using device in dusty environment.
Handle device with care and avoid direct
impact on the device. Avoid using device in
high electromagnetic environment.

Operating temperature of the device is
-20°C ~ 70°C, storage temperature is
-30°C ~ 80°C. Continuous exposure to sunlight,
especially when locked in cabin where
temperature exceeds 80°C may result to
device malfunction, colour change, housing
and image distortion.

non-recorde event, missing les, etc.
If the power discharge protection is set ‘ON’,
motion detection will work as park recording
mode. If the car battery voltage is lesser than
the setting value of cut-o voltage, device will
stop recording even at park recording mode.
Continuous usage depletes Micro SD quality.
Users are recommended to replace the
memory card every 6 months.

Mobile Application
Search “Blaupunkt DVR BP9” on Google Play and App Store.
Mobile App device OS version requirements : Android 4.4 (KitKat) or higher, iOS 10.0.2 or higher.
Pair DVR and Smartphone
The distance range between the DVR (with Wireless Control dongle) and smart device is
approximately 10 meters (33ft) in an open eld environment.
1. DVR (Ensure Wi-Fi dongle is installed on the DVR USB port) :
. Go to smartphone Wi-Fi setting to search and connect to DVR Wi-Fi.
(Refer to Wi-Fi dongle packing for Wi-Fi dongle name)
3. After successful pairing, enter into mobile app to start. At Main Menu select START.
a. At video display mode, tap screen to display Main Menu.
tb. Select MENU to enter into menu page.
c. Then select SYSTEM SET
d. Then select Wi-Fi to turn on Wi-Fi
These options will appear : Live View, VOD View, Download View, Conguration, F/W Update

Cut-o Voltage Setting
1. Setting on LCD Screen : Menu > System Set > Cut O Voltage
2. Setting on Wireless Control App : Conguration > Cut-O Voltage
With the conguration on LCD screen or Wireless Control App, set the voltage level to cut o automatically in order to prevent vehicle battery drainage.
The device will stop the discharge of the vehicle battery by blocking power supply to the DVR if the voltage drops below a congured value.
