3 Important Points About Operating The Iron
•Your iron can overflow when filled with too much water. To avoid this, make sure that while the iron is standing upright you fill water only up to the maximum line on the transparent water tank.
•The soleplate temperature must reach a certain level in order for the iron to generate steam. When the temperature setting is on the steam mark and the steam button is on, “anti drip” feature will prevent water drips until the iron is sufficiently hot.
•In the first use, fill the iron with tap water and vaporize twice before ironing. At the same time, use the shock steam button frequently. This will both increase steam performance and clear away the dust that may have accumulated in the steam channels. After this operation, always use the softened water that you will obtain from the water-softening unit provided with your iron. Otherwise, steam channels of the iron will calcify in time to finally become unusable. Never use the commercial ironing
water with chemical additives and aroma.
•There may be a slight odour during the first use of your iron which will disappear after using a few times.
•If you run out of water during ironing, add water after you unplug the iron. You do not need to wait for cooling down.
•If spraying is not functioning properly, put your finger over the spray hole and press the spray button a few times in order to remove the clogging.
•While ironing, start with the clothes that need warm ironing and go along with the ones that need hot ironing. When the setting is lowered at high temperatures, you have to allow 3-4 minutes for the temperature to fall.
•A “click” sound will be heard when the soleplate temperature is changed because of the anti-drip feature of your iron. Which is normal operating feature.
4 Operating The Iron
Start with filling water in the iron. Always do the following checks before filling water:
Water tank must be completely empty and the iron must be unplugged.
You can pour out the water in the iron by opening the water-filling cap and tilting the iron forward.

Then fill tap water into the upper part of the water-softening unit that was provided with your iron and place it over the lower part. In a short time, the water in the upper part shall
be filtered down to the lower part. (Figure 2)
