Congratulations on your purchase

Congratulations on your purchase of the Baby Lock Quest Plus™! Your new machine
is sure to bring years of sewing enjoyment. As you familiarize yourself with the
features of this machine, we would like to point out some information that may have
been updated in your instruction manual.
The Quest Plus™ will sew by using either the START/STOP button or by pressing •
on the foot control, without disconnecting the foot control. On page 8 the
manual may say that “The foot control must be disconnected to use the START/
STOP button”, but disconnecting the foot control is not necessary.
The stitch length manual settings for zigzag stitch #5 in Group 1-A and #06 in •
Group 2-B can be shortened to 0.0mm. The “Auto Length” setting for stitch #5
is 3.0mm and for stitch #06 is 1.5mm. On page 93, the instruction manual
may show that the “Manual Length” range for stitch #5 and #06 is 0.3 to 5.0mm
with the “Auto Length” settings at 3.0mm, but these settings can be adjusted
shorter than 0.3mm. To create a beautiful satin stitch, for best results the stitch
length setting should be set between 0.2mm and 0.5mm. For the best stitching
performance, it is recommended to use the RK foot for this “satin” type stitch.
Some of the stitches in the Group 2-B Pattern under Bar Tack Stitch and Satin •
Stitches within the Stitch Reference Chart have been adjusted to allow the user
to adjust the stitch length all the way down to a 0.0mm. Stitches that have these
adjustments are stitch #45 and #58 through #75, excluding #71. View these
stitches on pages 94 and 95.
