Preparations
Prepare the Remote Control
The provided Remote Control allows the unit to be operated from a distance.
Even if the Remote Control is operated within the effective range (6m), remote control operation may be impossible if there are any obstacles between the unit and the remote control.
If the Remote Control is operated near other products which generate infrared rays, or if other remote control devices using infrared rays are used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly. Conversely, the other products may operate incorrectly.
First-time use:
The unit has a pre-installed lithium CR2025 battery. Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control battery.

To Replace the Remote Control Battery:
1 - Pull out the battery tray and remove the old battery.
2 - Place a new CR2025 battery into the battery tray with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3 - Insert the battery tray back into the slot.
Precautions Concerning Batteries
When the Remote Control is not to be used for a long time (more than a month), re move the battery from the Remote Control to prevent it from leaking.
If the batteries leak, wipe away the leakage inside the battery compartment and replace the batteries with new ones.
Do not use any batteries other than those specified.
Do not heat or disassemble batteries. Never throw them in fire or water.
Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects. Doing so could cause bat
teries to short-circuit, leak or explode.
Never recharge a battery unless it is confirmed to be a rechargeable type.
Installing the iPad back pad/rubber pad
- Install the iPad back pad and rubber pad to hold on to the iPod/iPhone/iPad.
Connecting the Power
Caution: Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the rating label on the back or the underside of the unit.

Connect the mains plug of the main unit and to a mains socket.

Setting the time
The built-in clock shows the correct time in the display.
1 In STANDBY mode, press and hold the CLOCK button on the remote control, the hour indicator blinks.
2 Press the / buttons on the remote control to set the hour. Then press the CLOCK button to confirm the hour.
3 Press the / buttons on the remote control to set the minute. Then press the CLOCK button to confirm the minute. This will finish the clock setting.
Important:
- If no button is pressed for 15 seconds, the settings will be lost and you will need to start again.
To display the clock time
- When you press the CLOCK button, the clock time is displayed. Press the CLOCK button again the display returns to the original display.

Setting an alarm
You can set two alarms that go off at different times.
- Ensure that you have set the clock correctly.
1 - In standby mode, press and hold the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons on remote control, the hour digits will flash.
2 - Press the / buttons on the remote control to set the required hour. Then press the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons to confirm the hour.
3 - Press the / buttons on the remote control to set the required minute. Then press the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons to confirm the minute.
4 - Press the / buttons on the remote control to select an alarm sound source: iPod/iPhone/iPad, FM tuner or buzzer. Then press the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons to confirm.
5 - Press the / buttons on the remote control to select the required volume, we recommend no less than 5 as a minimum. Then press the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons to confirm.
Activate and Deactivate the Alarm Timer:
Press the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons repeatedly to activate or deactivate the timer. If the timer is activated, or is displayed. If the timer is deactivated, the or will disappear from the display on the front of the unit.
Repeat Alarm:
When the alarm rings, press the /SNOOZE button on the main unit or the SNOOZE button on the remote control. The alarm repeats ringing 9 minutes later.
Stop Alarm Ring:
When the alarm rings, press the corresponding ALARM [1 or 2] buttons. The alarm stops, but the alarm settings remain.
View the Alarm Settings:
Press the ALARM [1 or 2] buttons to view the alarm settings.

General Operation
Standby/ON
- When you first connect the unit to the main socket, the unit will be in STANDBY mode.
Press the button on the remote control or on the main unit to switch the main unit ON.
Press the button on the remote control or on the main unit to switch the main unit back to STANDBY MODE.
- Disconnect the main plug from the main socket if you want to switch the unit off completely.
- If there is no signal under the BT (Bluetooth), DOCK (iPod/iPhone/iPad) and LINE IN mode, the unit will switch off automatically within 15 minutes.
Select Modes:
Press the button on the main unit or the BT/DOCK, LINE IN and FM buttons on the remote control to select the desired mode. The selected mode will show on the dis play.

Adjust the Volume:
During play, press the VOL+/- buttons to increase/decrease the volume level. If you wish to turn the sound off, press the MUTE button on the remote control. Press the MUTE button again or press VOL +/– button on remote control or on main unit to resume normal listening.
Adjust Display Brightness:
Press the DIMMER button on the remote control or press the VOL+ or VOL– buttons (only active in standby mode) on the unit repeatedly to select different levels of display brightness.
Set the Sleep Timer:
This unit can switch to standby automatically after a set period of time. 1 - Press the SLEEP button on remote control repeatedly to select a set period of time (in minutes).

When the sleep timer is activated, the display will show “ “ and the volume will gradually decrease before the unit powers off.
2 - Press the SLEEP button on remote control repeatedly until [00] is displayed.
When the sleep timer is deactivated, “ “ disappears from the display.

LINE IN Operation
You can listen to an external audio device through this unit.
1 - Ensure that the unit is connected to the TV or external audio device.
- Connect the 3.5mm audio cable (included) to the LINE IN socket on the rear of unit and to the headphone socket on the external audio device.
2 - Press the button on the main unit or the LINE IN button on the remote control to select the LINE mode.
3 - Press play on the audio player.
4 - Press the VOL +/– buttons on remote control or on main unit to adjust the volume to your desired level.

iPod/iPhone/iPad Operation
You can enjoy audio from iPod/iPhone/iPad through this unit.
Listen to the iPod/iPhone/iPad:
Note: This unit does not support apple 30-pin model.
1. Press the button on the main unit or the BT/DOCK button on the remote control to select the DOCK (iPod/iPhone/iPad) mode.
2. Place an iPod/iPhone/iPad into the dock.
3. Start to play the connected iPod/iPhone/iPad.
- To pause/resume play, press the button on the remote control or on main unit.
- To skip to a track, press the / buttons on the remote control.
- To search during play, press and hold / buttons on the remote control, then release to resume normal play.
Charge the iPod/iPhone/iPad:
The docked iPod/iPhone/iPad begins to charge while the unit is connected to AC power.

Bluetooth Operation
You can listen to music from a bluetooth-enabled device via this player. Pair Bluetooth-enabled Devices. The first time you connect your Bluetooth device to this player, you need to pair your device to this player.
Note:
- The operational range between this player and a Bluetooth device is approximately 8 meters.
- Before you connect a Bluetooth device to this unit, familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth capabilities of the device.
- Compatibility with all Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed.
- Any obstacle between this unit and a Bluetooth device can reduce the operational range.
- Keep this player away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.
1 - Press the button on the main unit or the BT/DOCK button on the remote control to select the BT (Bluetooth) mode. “NO BT” will show on the display if the unit is not paired to any Bluetooth device.
2 - The system has entered pairing mode.
- Or press and hold the “ ” button on the unit or press and hold the /PAIR on the remote control to activate Bluetooth pairing, you will hear “Pairing” from the unit and the display will show “PAIR”.
3 - Activate your Bluetooth device and select the search mode. “Azatom Nox” will appear on your Bluetooth device.
4 - Select “Nox” in the pairing list. After the “Paired” voice prompt, the system is successfully connected and the display panel shows “BT”.
5 - Play music from the connected device.
To disconnect the Bluetooth function, you can :
- Switch to another function on the unit.
- Disable the function from your Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth device will be dis connected from the NOX after the “Disconnected” voice prompt.
- Press and hold the “ ” button on the unit or press and hold the /PAIR on the remote control.

To disconnect the Bluetooth function, you can :
- Switch to another function on the unit.
- Disable the function from your Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth device will be disconnected from the soundbar after the “Disconnected” voice prompt.
- Press and hold the “ ” button on the unit or press and hold the /PAIR on the remote control.
Tips:
- Enter “0000” for the password if necessary.
- If no other Bluetooth device pairs with this player in 2 minutes, the player will recover the previous connection
- The player will also be disconnected when your device is moved beyond the operational range.
- If you want to reconnect your device to this player, place it within the operational range.
- If the device is moved beyond the operational range, when it is brought back, please check if the device is still connected to the player.
- If they are connected, display panel shows “BT”.
- If the connection is lost, display panel shows “NO BT”. Follow the instructions above to pair your device to the player again.
Listen to Music from Bluetooth Device
If the connected Bluetooth device supports Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), you can listen to the music stored on the device through the player.
If the device also supports Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) , you can use the player’s remote control to play music stored on the device.
1. Pair your device with the player.
2. Start to play music via your device (if it supports A2DP).
3. Use supplied remote control to control play (if it supports AVRCP).
- To pause/resume play, press the button on the unit or on the remote control.
- To skip to a track, press the / buttons on the remote control.

FM Operation
Auto Scan and Save Preset Station
1 - Press the button on the main unit or the FM button on the remote control to select the FM mode.
2 - Press and hold the PROG button on the remote control or the button on the unit for a few seconds to activate automatic programming. All available stations are programmed in the order of waveband reception strength.
- The first programmed radio station is played automatically.
3 - Press the or buttons on the remote control to select a preset number that you want.
Tuning in a Station
Press and hold the / buttons on the remote control, the frequency changes down or up automatically until a station is found. Press the / buttons on the remote control repeatedly until you find the station you want.
Presetting Stations Manually
You can preset up to 20 FM stations.
1 - Tune in the desired station, then press the PROG button on the remote control. 2 - Press the / buttons on the remote control to select the preset number. 3 - Press the PROG button on the remote control to store the station. 4 - Repeat above steps 1 to 3 for each station you want to store in memory with a preset number.

Troubleshooting
To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the system yourself. If you encounter problems when using this unit, check the following points before requesting service.
No power:
- Ensure that the AC cord of the apparatus is connected properly.
- Ensure that there is power at the AC outlet.
Remote control does not work:
- Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.
- Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.
- Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.
- Replace the battery.
- Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.
Poor radio reception:
- Increase the distance between the unit and your TV or VCR.
- Fully extend the FM antenna.
Timer does not work:
- Set the clock correctly.
- Switch on the timer.
Clock/timer setting erased:
- Power has been interrupted or the power cord has been disconnected.
- Reset the clock/timer.
I can’t find the Bluetooth name of this unit on my Bluetooth device for Bluetooth pairing:
- Ensure that the unit is switch on.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth function is activated on your Bluetooth device.
iPhone/iPod/iPad not docking correctly:
- Remove any cases or accessories on your device before docking to make sure a solid connection is made to the 8-pin lightning connector.

Main plug is used to disconnect device and it should remain readily operable during intended use. In order to disconnect the apparatus from the main mains completely, the mains plug should be disconnected from the main socket outlet completely.
If any battery is included it shall not be exposed to
excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
