Thellingprocessisrepeatedthreetimes,releasingthepressurebetweenllings,tomakesurethat allairandhumidityispurgedfromthehousing.

Thecamerahousinghasanpressurereliefvalvethatlimitsthellingpressureto0.5bar (7psi).Duringnormalusethepressureinsidethecamerahousingmaydropbelowthat pressure.Forfullprotectionmakesurethatthepressureisabove0.2bar(3psi).

1.Settheregulatorgaugeonthegascylinderto0.5bar(7psi).

2.Removethecapsfromtheinletvalveandthepressurereliefvalve.

3.Placethechuckontheinletvalveandpressdowntollthecamerawithnitrogen.

4.Whenthepressureinsidethecamerahousingreaches0.5bar(7psi)thepressurerelief valvewillopen.Placeyourhandoverthepressurereliefvalvetoverifythatthegas isowingout.

5.Keepthegasowingthroughthecamerahousingforoneminutebeforeremovingthe chuckfromtheinletvalve.

6.Liftthepressurereliefvalvetolettheoverpressureoutofthecameraunit.

7.Repeatthellingprocessatotalof3times,leavingthethecamerapressurizedthe lasttime.

8.Putthecapsbackontheinletvalveandthepressurereliefvalve.
