ThecameraattachesaparticularVLANtagtoallitsforwardedmulticastpackages.Themediaconverterswitchmanageshowthese multicastpackagesareforwardedbetweencameras,mediaconverterswitchesandothernetworkdevices.Thisespeciallyusefulwhen connectingthecameraandmediaconverterswitchtothenetworkinadaisychain.
Bychangingthepositionofthedipswitches,eachnetworkconnectorportinthemediaconverterswitchcanbecongured tomanagemulticastsinthreedifferentways.
