AXIS Indoor Recessed Enclosure is a drop-ceiling housing for indoor installation of Axis PTZ and PTZ
dome cameras. It is an ideal solution for public environments that need discreet surveillance.
The visible part of the housing extends only 3.5’’ below
the ceiling, giving the housing a low-prole look. The
lower dome is a semi-sphere that is constructed of distortion free, cell-cast acrylic for best image quality. The
smoked lower dome hides the direction of the camera
for added discretion. A white powder coat trim gives the
housing a clean, professional look.
For quick and easy installation, the housing is shipped
with a cardboard template for cutting a proper size
opening for the enclosure in a drop ceiling. Two anchor
points on the metal housing enable the unit to be secured to the superstructure.
The supported cameras are AXIS 213 PTZ, AXIS 214 PTZ,
AXIS 215 PTZ Network Cameras and AXIS 231D+,
AXIS 232D+ and AXIS 233D Network Dome Cameras.
