door to enter the car-jacking mode.
3 Timer circuits will function as follows:
First Timer: 50 seconds after car jacking is activated the siren will start chirping
for 15 seconds. During this 15-second period, you are alerted to push and
release the valet/override switch to stop the car-jacking feature, if not the system
will enter the second timer.
SECOND TIMER: 65 seconds after car jacking is activated, the siren starts
alarming and the parking lights start flashing.
THIRD TIMER: 90 seconds after car-jacking is activated, the siren continues
alarming, the parking lights continue flashing and then the ignition disable
function activates to stop the engine from running and the starter disable function
activates to prevent the car from being re-started. This feature will remain active
until the vehicle’s battery is exhausted or the override option has been activated.
