This chapter describes the key features
of TS300-E5. It includes the product overview and general specications.
Product introduction
1-

1.1 Key features

TS300-E5 is a single-socket pedestal server system based on Intel® 3210MCH chipset,
which provides immediate performance scale up and high processing speed in the
UP tower server. With 4 DIMM slots, the server supports DDR2 800/667 un-buffered ECC/Non-ECC up to 8GB memory capacity.
Provide SAS RAID Solution with ASUS Proprietary SAS HBA
ASUS SASsaby 1064E (PCI-E 4-port SAS add-on card) is able to support RAID 0, 1, 1E without sacrice of expansion slots
Quad-LAN Teaming Technology Provides 200% Faster Transfer Rate
Four PCI-Express Gb LAN provide 200% faster transfer rate than those with only two LAN chips
Teaming & Failover function enables higher bandwidth aggregation and reliable
network connection via load-balance and fault-tolerance
Multiple network segments help enhance network security and improve
communication efciency
Flexible Expansion Choices
Provide three 32-bit/33MHz (5V) PCI slots for legacy device support
Provide two PCI-E x 16 (x8 link) (one is designed for add-on SAS Saby card) and one PCI-E x8 (x1 link) for higher bandwidth
One SO-DIMM socket for optional ASUS ASMB3-SOL card for remote
management and monitoring
User-friendly Management Software
Bundled ASWM2.0 system software makes system management easy. With effective management and monitoring via intelligent interaction & image; the customer may have a clear view regarding CPU, memory, HDD, fan speed,
