Anche se l’apparecchio è dotato di dispositivi di sicurezza, per evitare danni
accidentali, leggere attentamente le istruzioni di sicurezza e usare l’apparecchio solo come descritto in esse.
Conservare il presente manuale per future consultazioni. Quando si passa
l’apparecchio ad altri, includere il manuale stesso.

Pericolo per i bambini
• Non lasciare l’apparecchio alla portata di bambini o di incapaci. Quando
l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato bloccare sempre il pulsante di erogazione
vapore tramite l’apposito cursore di sicurezza.
• Allorchè si decida di smaltire come rifiuto questo apparecchio, si raccomanda di renderlo inoperante tagliandone il cavo di alimentazione. Si raccomanda inoltre di rendere innocue quelle parti dell’apparecchio suscettibili
di costituire un pericolo, specialmente per i bambini che potrebbero servirsi
dell’apparchhio per i propri giochi.

• Gli elementi dell’imballaggio non devono essere lasciati alla portata dei
bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo.
Pericolo dovuto a elettricità
• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione, controllate che
la tensione indicata sulla targhetta corrisponda a quella della rete locale.
• Collegare sempre l’apparecchio ad una presa con messa a terra.
• Non lasciare incustodito l’apparecchio mentre è collegato alla rete elettrica.
• Spegnere sempre l’apparecchio mediante l’interruttore e staccare la spina
dalla presa di alimentazione durante i rifornimenti.
• L’apparecchio è conforme alla Direttiva CEE 89/336 relativa alla compatibilità elettromagnetica.
Pericolo di danni derivanti da altre cause
• Non lasciare l’apparecchio esposto ad agenti atmosferici (pioggia, sole,
ecc...).
• Non dirigere mai il getto di vapore verso persone, animali,
piante oppure verso apparecchiature che contengono parti
elettriche (es: interno dei forni).
• Non immergere l’apparecchio in acqua o in altri liquidi.
• Non usare l’apparecchio se risulta danneggiato. Tutte le riparazioni, compresa la sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione, devono essere eseguite
solamente dal Centro Assistenza Ariete o da tecnici autorizzati Ariete, per
prevenire ogni rischio.
• Questo prodotto è stato costruito per uso domestico e non per uso industriale.
• Questo apparecchio dovrà essere destinato esclusivamente all’uso per il quale
è stato concepito e nel modo indicato nelle istruzioni d’uso. Ogni altro utilizzo
è da considerarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso.
Il costruttore non può essere considerato responsabile per eventuali danni deri-
vanti da usi impropri o errati.

Avvertenza relativa a ustioni
ATTENZIONE: pericolo di scottature.
• Non toccare le superfici calde durante l’uso del prodotto. Lasciare raffreddare gli accessori prima di sostituirli.
• NON APRIRE IL TAPPO DI SICUREZZA DURANTE L’USO.
• ATTENZIONE: prima di svitare il tappo procedete come segue:
- spegnere l’apparecchio mediante l’interruttore;
- scollegare il cavo di alimentazione dalla presa di corrente;
- scaricare la pressione all’interno della caldaia azionando il pulsante;
- svitare lentamente il tappo ed attendere alcuni secondi prima di averlo completamente svitato.
Attenzione – danni materiali
• L’apparecchio è dotato di un termostato che limita la temperatura, di un
termofusibile e di un tappo di sicurezza. La sua costruzione è conforme alle
norme europee relative agli elettrodomestici.
• Prima di utilizzare il prodotto assicurarsi che gli oggetti, le superfici ed i
tessuti da trattare siano resistenti o compatibili con l'elevata temperatura del
vapore.
In particolare su pavimenti in cotto trattato, superfici di legno e tessuti delica-
ti, quali seta o velluto, si consiglia di consultare le istruzioni del fabbricante
ed eseguire una prova su una parte nascosta o su un campione.
• Non aggiungere mai prodotti discrostanti, aromatici, alcolici o detergenti
all’interno della caldaia, in quanto potrebbero danneggiarla o renderla
meno sicura.
• ATTENZIONE: non utilizzare la spazzola tergivetro se la superficie da trattare è fredda. L’eventuale sbalzo termico potrebbe provocarne la rottura.
• Al primo utilizzo o dopo una lunga pausa, svuotare l’acqua in un recipiente.
• Si consiglia l’utilizzo di acqua del rubinetto o in alternativa acqua demineralizzata.

MODALITA’ D’USO
Riempimento del serbatoio caldaia prima dell’uso
NON COLLEGARE LA SPINA DEL
CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE NELLA
PRESA DI CORRENTE.
Svitare il tappo di sicurezza e per mezzo
dell’imbuto versare nella caldaia due misurini d’acqua, riempiti fino al livello massimo. Riavvitare il tappo di sicurezza.
NON SVITARE MAI IL TAPPO DEL
SERBATOIO PRIMA DI ESSERSI
ASSICURATI CHE L’APPARECCHIO
SIA SPENTO E SCOLLEGATO DALLA PRESA DI CORRENTE.
Accensione dell’apparecchio
Per accendere l’apparecchio inserire la spina del cavo di alimentazione nella
presa di corrente.
Premere l’interruttore di accensione, la lampada spia verde e la lampada spia
arancione si accenderanno. Appena la lampada spia arancione si spegne l’apparecchio è pronto per l’uso.
Al fine di impedire l'attivazione accidentale
dell'erogazione vapore è necessario spostare
il cursore da sinistra a destra ( ). Per sbloccare spostare il cursore da destra a sinistra
( ).
Comunque sia al primo utilizzo che dopo
alcuni minuti di inattività del prodotto si
consiglia di scaricare dentro un recipiente
l’acqua che potrebbe essersi depositata
all’interno del tubo premendo il pulsante
erogazione vapore. Quando la pistola inizia ad erogare vapore, si consiglia di dirigere il getto verso terra. Attraverso
la manopola Regola Vapore, è possibile dosare la quantità di vapore. Questo
consente di utilizzare l’apparecchio su ogni tipo di superficie o di tessuto.
ATTENZIONE: Nel caso di tessuti delicati, si consiglia di controllare le disposizioni previste dal fabbricante del tessuto.
Ridurre la pressione del vapore per pulire tessuti o superfici delicate.

APPLICAZIONE DEI VARI ACCESSORI
Cappuccio
Questo accessorio si può applicare all’ugello pistola per proteggere l’estremità
dell’ugello stesso.
Beccuccio di prolunga
Inserire l’accessorio spingendolo fino alla
parte fissa della pistola e allineando la linea
incisa sul beccuccio con la linea posta sulla
pistola.
Dopodichè ruotare il beccuccio di 90� nel
senso (orario) indicato dalla freccia. In
questo modo l’accessorio rimane fisso nella
posizione di blocco.
Spazzolino tondo e beccuccio inclinato
Entrambi questi accessori si possono applicare sul beccuccio di prolunga oppure
sull’ugello pistola, dopo aver inserito il
cappuccio.
Spazzola per tessuti con panno e tergivetro
La spazzola per tessuti si può montare sull’ugello pistola.
Alla spazzola si può applicare il tergivetro,
inserendo i ganci (E1) posti ai lati dello stesso, dentro le linguette (E2) della spazzola e
unendo i due pezzi.

La spazzola è dotata anche di una cuffia,
da calzare per la pulizia di tessuti, divani
e materassi.
Con la spazzola tergivetri, ogni vetrata ed
ogni specchio riacquisterà brillantezza. E’
facile da usare anche sui vetri dei Box doccia, eliminando il problema delle tracce di
calcare.
ATTENZIONE: Nel caso di tessuti delicati,
si consiglia di controllare le disposizioni
previste dal fabbricante del tessuto.
ATTENZIONE: NON UTILIZZARE LA SPAZZOLA TERGIVETRO SE LA SUPERFICIE
DA TRATTARE È FREDDA. L’eventuale sbalzo termico potrebbe provocarne la
rottura.
Tubi prolunga
Per raggiungere le superfici più lontane si può inserire, sull’estremità della pistola,
le prolunghe e il raccordo puliscivetro. Dopodichè, a seconda delle esigenze di
lavoro, si possono applicare i vari accessori.
Spazzola pavimenti
Questo accessorio si utilizza con le prolunghe ed è dotato di un panno per pavimenti.
Per applicare il panno poggiarvi sopra la
spazzola, dopodichè tirare una dopo l’altra
le estremità sporgenti del panno sotto le
mollette di arresto (G1).
Sacca
Il prodotto è dotato di una comoda sacca per riporre gli accessori.

COME PROCEDERE AL RIEMPIMENTO DELLA CALDAIA
DURANTE L’USO
Quando l’acqua è finita azionando il pulsante non si avrà l’erogazione del vapore.
I modelli sono dotati di un manometro che indica la quantità di vapore presente
nella caldaia. Se durante l’uso la freccia del manometro indica il simbolo significa che l’acqua in caldaia si sta esaurendo.
Pertanto per eseguire un nuovo rifornimento procedere come segue:
a) spegnere l’apparecchio azionando l’interruttore;
b) togliere la spina dalla presa di alimentazione;
c) premere il pulsante per scaricare il vapore residuo;
d) svitare lentamente il tappo di sicurezza e attendere alcuni secondi affinchè
cessi il sibilo di vapore prima di svitarlo completamente. Attendere qualche
minuto prima di introdurre acqua nella caldaia.
e) introdurre di nuovo l’acqua, versando lentamente le prime
quantità per evitare sbuffi di vapore. Si consiglia di attendere
almeno 3 minuti dal momento che si è scollegato l’apparecchio
dalla presa di corrente, prima di versare nuova acqua nella
caldaia;
f) riavvitare completamente il tappo di sicurezza;
g) reinserire la spina nella presa di corrente;
h) premere l’interruttore
di accensione.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di procedere a qualsiasi operazione scollegare la spina di alimentazione.
Prima di riporre l’apparecchio o procedere alla sua pulizia, attendere che si sia
raffreddato. Per garantire un funzionamento ottimale e prolungato nel tempo, è
sufficiente sciacquare con acqua ogni mese l’interno della caldaia per eliminare
i residui calcarei accumulati. Non usare aceto o altre sostanze decalcificanti.

DOPO L'USO
Per svuotare la caldaia dall’eventuale acqua avanzata dopo l’utilizzo, tenere
presente che l’acqua in caldaia si mantiene ad elevata temperatura per lunghi
tempi. Quindi attendere almeno 1 ora prima di aprire il tappo e procedere allo
svuotamento con cautela della caldaia.
Avvolgere il tubo flessibile al corpo dell’apparecchio e riporre la pistola sopra l’apposita maniglia, dopo aver
riposizionato il cursore di sicurezza nella posizione di blocco.
Oppure lasciate la spazzola pavimenti con
i tubi prolunga montati sul tubo flessibile e
riponete il tutto inserendo il gancio posto sul
retro della spazzola nell’apposito foro situato
dietro l’avvolgicavo. Riavvolgere il cavo di
alimentazione dentro l’apposito avvolgicavo.

Warning about burns/scaldings
CAUTION: danger of burns
• Do not touch the hot surfaces during use. Allow the accessories to cool down
before changing them.
• DO NOT OPEN THE SAFETY CAP WHILE THE APPLIANCE IS BEING
USED.
• WARNING: Follow these steps before unscrewing filler cap:
- Turn off the cleaner by operating button.
- Unplug the appliance.
- discharge the pressure from inside the boiler tank by pressing the button;
- Slowly start to unscrew the filler cap, wait a few seconds, then screw it off
completely.
Caution - material damage
• The cleaner is equipped with a temperature-limiting thermostat, thermfuse
and a safety filler cap. Construction complies with EU regulations on domestic appliances.
• Before using the appliance, ensure that the objects, surfaces and fabrics to
be cleaned are resistant to or compatible with the high temperature of the
steam.
In particular, follow the directions provided by the manufacturer and carry
out a test on a hidden part or a sample before using the appliance on terracotta floors, wooden surfaces or delicate fabrics such as silk and velvet.
• To avoid damaging the appliance or making it unsafe, never introduce
descalers, detergents, aromatic or alcoholic products into the boiler tank.
• DO NOT USE THE GLASS WIPER ATTACHMENT IF THE SURFACE TO BE
CLEANED IS COLD. Changes in temperature could cause it to break.
• When first using the appliance or after a long pause, pour the water into a
container.
• We recommend using tap water or alternatively, distilled water.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
How to fill the boiler tank before use
DO NOT CONNECT THE POWER CORD
PLUG TO THE MAINS SOCKET.
Unscrew safety cap and, using funnel,
pour into the tank two measures of water
to the maximum level. Screw safety cap
back on again.
BEFORE UNSCREWING THE TANK
CAP, ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE
CLEANER IS SWITCHED OFF AND
DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER
SUPPLY.
How to start the appliance
To turn on the appliance, insert the power cord plug into an electrical socket
and press ON/OFF switch; green indicator and amber indicator will come on.
As soon as amber indicator goes out, the appliance is ready for use. To prevent
steam from being dispensed accidentally, always move the cursor from left to right
( ). To release this lock, move the cursor
from right to left ( ).
In any case, both when first using the cleaner and every time it is left unused for a
few minutes, press steam supply button and
discharge any water that has formed in hose
into a container. Then, as soon as the cleaner begins supplying steam only, direct the
steam jet towards the floor and press steam
supply button at least two or three times.
Using the Steam Regulation knob, it is possible to regulate the amount of steam. This means that the appliance can be used
on any type of surface or fabric.
WARNING: For delicate fabrics, we recommend checking the manufacturer’s
instructions first.
Reduce the steam pressure when cleaning textiles or delicate surfaces.

APPLICATION OF THE ATTACHMENTS
Hood
This accessory can be fitted to the gun nozzle to protect the nozzle end.
Extension spout
Insert the accessory by pushing it into the fixed section of the gun and aligning
the groove in the spout with the line on the
gun. Align the spout groove with the line on
the gun, then rotate the spout 90� degrees
(clockwise) in the direction of the arrow until
it locks into place.
Round brush and inclined spout
Both accessories can be fitted to the extension spout or the gun nozzle after attaching
hood.
Fabric brush with cloth and glass
wiper
The fabric brush can be attached to gun nozzle. The brush can be fitted with glass wiper.
Insert wiper side hooks (E1) into brush tabs
(E2) and join the two parts together. The brush
can also be fitted with a cloth cover for cleaning fabrics, sofas and mattresses.

Using the glass brush, all glass and mirrors
will regain their shine. It is also easy to be
used on shower cubicles, eliminating limescale problems.
WARNING: For delicate fabrics, we recommend checking the manufacturer’s instructions first.

Extension tubes
To extend the reach of the appliance, gun nozzle can be fitted with extensions
and glass cleaner connector. Other accessories can then be attached depending
on the work to be done.
Floor brush
This accessory is used with extensions, and
is provided with floor cloth. To attach the
cloth, rest the brush on it and then pull the
cloth projections one by one under retaining
springs (G1).
Bag
The cleaner has a handy bag for storing accessories.

HOW TO FILL THE BOILER WHILE THE APPLIANCE IS
BEING USED
When the water has been used up by pressing button, no more steam will be supplied.
Models are fitted with a pressure gauge to indicate the amount of steam in the boiler
tank. If the pressure gauge arrow moves to the symbol during use, this means
that the water in the tank is about to finish.
To refill the boiler, proceed as follows:
a) switch off the appliance by operating switch;
b) remove the plug from the power socket;
c) press button to expel any residual steam;
d) slowly unscrew the safety cap and wait a few seconds until no steam can be
heard escaping before unscrewing the cap completely; wait some minutes
before refilling the boiler with water.
e) Fill up the boiler tank taking care to pour the water in slowly
at the beginning so as to avoid puffs of steam. We recommend
waiting at least 3 minutes after unplugging the appliance from
the mains before pouring more water into the boiler tank.
f) screw the safety cap on again tightly;
g) plug the power supply cable in again;
h) press the ON/OFF switch.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF MACHINE
Always unplug the appliance before performing any cleaning or servicing operation. Before storing or cleaning the appliance, allow it to cool down. To keep the
appliance in full working order for many years, remember to rinse out the boiler
inside once a month in order to remove the limescale deposits. Do not use vinegar
or other decalcifiers.

AFTER USE
When emptying any remaining water from the boiler tank after use, do not forget that the water inside the tank remains at a high temperature for a long time.
Therefore, wait at least 1 hour before unscrewing the cap and then empty the
tank with care.
Wind the flexible tube hose around the cleaner body and set safety slider back to the
lock position. Replace the gun on the handle
provided.
Or, leave the floor brush and extension tubes
attached to the flexible tube and store it like
this by inserting the hook located on the
back of the brus in the hole provided behind
the cable winder cavity, as shown in figure.

BEZUGNAHMEN AUF DIESE ANLEITUNG
Obwohl das Gerät mit Sicherheitsvorrichtungen ausgestattet ist, sind die
Sicherheitsanweisungen sorgfältig durchzulesen und das Gerät gemäß der
darin enthaltenen Beschreibug einzusetzen, damit unbeabsichtigte Schäden
vermieden werden können. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für ein zukünftiges
Nachschlagen auf. Bei einer Weitergabe des Geräts an eine andere Person ist

Gefahr für Kinder
• Das Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern oder ungeeigneten Personen halten.
Dampftaste mittels des Sicherheitsschalters sperren, falls das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
• Falls dieses Gerät entsorgt werden soll, ist sein Speisekabel abzuschneiden, so dass es nicht mehr funktionsfähig ist. Darüber hinaus sind all die
Geräteteile unschädlich zu machen, die vor allem für Kinder, die das Gerät
als Spielzeug verwenden könnten, eine Gefahr darstellen.

• Verpackungsteile nicht in Reichweite von Kindern lassen. Sie stellen eine
potentielle Gefahr dar!.
Stromgefahr
• Bevor das Gerät angeschlossen wird, muß kontrolliert werden, ob die
Netzspannung den Angaben auf dem Typenschild des Geräts entspricht.
• Das Gerät muß an eine geerdete Steckdose angeschlossen werden.
• Das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt lassen solange es am Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
• Beim Nachfüllen stets das Gerät am Schalter abschalten und den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose ziehen.
• Dieses Gerät entspricht der EWG-Richtlinie 89/336 (elektromagnetischer
Verträglichkeit).
Auf andere Ursachen rückführbare Gefahr
• Gerät keinen Witterungseinflüssen (Regen, Sonne, usw.) aussetzen.
• Den Dampfstrahl nie auf Personen, Tiere, Pflanzen oder elektrische Geräte richten (z.B. in die Backofenröhre).
• Das Gerät nie in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen.
• Beschädigte Geräte nicht benutzen. Um Gefahren zu vermeiden und weil
Spezialwerkzeug benötigt wird, müssen alle Reparaturen, vom Ariete
Kundendienst oder einem Fachelektriker ausgeführt werden.
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Hausgebrauch und nicht für gewerblichen Einsatz
vorgesehen.
• Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem in der Bedienungsanleitung angegebenen und bestimmungs-gemäßen Gebrauch. Alle weiteren Anwendungen sind
unsachgemäß und folglich gefährlich.
Der Hersteller haftet nicht für eventuelle Schäden, die auf einen unsachgemäßen
oder falschen Gebrauch zurückzuführen sind.

Warnung vor Verbrennungen
ACHTUNG: Verbrennungsgefahr
• Bei Gebrauch niemals die heißen Oberflächen am Gerät berühren. Die
Zubehörteile vor Austausch abkühlen lassen.
• WÄHREND DAS GERÄT BENUTZT WIRD, DEN SICHERHEITSVERSCHLUSS
NICHT AUFSCHRAUBEN.
• ACHTUNG: Vorm Abschrauben von Verschluss wie folgt vorgehen:
- Das Gerät mit dem Schalter ausschalten.
- Das Anschlusskabel aus der Steckdose ziehen.
- Schalter betätigen, um den Druck aus dem Dampfkessel abzulassen.
- Den Verschluss etwas lösen. Einige Sekunden warten, bevor Sie den
Verschluss vollständig abschrauben.
Achtung – Materialschäden
• Das Gerät ist mit einem Thermostat zur Temperaturbegrenzung, einer
Schmelzsicherung Rücksetzung sowie einem Sicherheitsverschluss ausgestattet.
Das Gerät entspricht den europäischen Normen für Elektrohaushaltsgeräte.
• Vorm Einsatz des Gerätes feststellen, ob die zu behandelnden Gegenstände
und Oberflächen für den heißen Dampf geeignet sind.
Besonders bei behandelten Terracotta-Böden, Holzböden, empfindlichen
Stoffen, wie Seide oder Samt, die Anweisungen des Herstellers beachten.
Machen Sie zuerst an einer nicht sichtbaren Stelle oder an einem Muster
einen Versuch.
• Keine Entkalkungsmittel, Duftstoffe, Alkohol oder Reinigungsmittel beigeben,
sie können das Gerät beschädigen oder gefährlich werden lassen.
• VERWENDEN SIE BITTE NICHT DEN FENSTERWISCHER, WENN DIE ZU
BEHANDELNDE OBERFLÄCHE KALT IST. Der eventuelle Temperaturunterschied
könnte das Glas zerbrechen.
• Nach dem ersten Gebrauch oder nach längerer Pause das Wasser vollständig
entleeren.
• Verwenden Sie Leitungswasser oder, alternativ dazu, demineralisiertes
Wasser.
