“It’s refreshing to see a company focus in on details like the cosmetics and
symmetry of the front panels, first rate packaging set up instructions, quality
support materials, and, of course, high performance music playback. ...if
you become a member of the Anthem club, you’ll smile every time you
look at your equipment.”
“Anthem just sounds right. No matter what makes them tick, these products
were made to enrich our lives with glorious music.”

Hybrid Integrated Amplifier - 90 watts/ch
the power
and the majesty
Sonic Frontiers, manufacturers of the ground-breaking line of
modern high-end vacuum-tube stereo electronics, introduce a
new integrated amplifier to its Anthem line: The Integrated 2.
The Anthem series is designed for superb performance within
cost constraints.
Design Features
H Y B R I D D E S I G N:
Integrated 1, the new model puts out 90/145 watts per channel. It’s
24-dB power-amp circuitry is entirely solid state and is designed
around the latest generation of Motorola bipolar devices. The 15-dB
preamplifier section, however, is an all-tube design, using two milspec Russian 6922’s. These tubes are very inexpensive to replace,
and are rated for a life cycle of at least 5,000 hours (approximately 5
years in typical use).

INPUTS:
plated Teflon RCA jacks and a coin-silver mil-spec selector switch for
four inputs (CD, Tuner, and two sets of AUX) plus both a tape-monitor loop (inputs and outputs, plus switching) and a surround sound
processor (SSP) bypass loop. The later function, together with its preout and main-in jacks, makes it possible to use the preamp and
power-amp sections entirely separately, should that be desirable. This
gives the user the option of adding a larger amp later or biamping.
FRONT PANEL FEAT U R E S : Additional front panel controls
include switches for mode (mono/stereo), muting, and power (on/off;
volume and balance controls; and a headphone jack. The volume pot
is motorized so that it can be driven from the supplied remote, which
also controls the mute and SSP bypass switching, functions which are
offered as momentary switches on the front panel. A front-panel LED
indicates status: 45-second turn-on mute (low green), normal operation (high green), muting (flashing green), and SSP bypass (orange).
The preamp design incorporates custom-designed gold-

polypropylene; Holco and Draloric 0.5% metal-film resistors are used.
RCA jacks are custom designs using Teflon and gold materials. A
Noble balance pot and Kimber interconnect wiring are among the premium parts used in this design.
All Anthem products are available with either black or silver faceplates.
