3M™ V-Bank Filters MERV A13 offer a unique combination of performance and design features to provide high ﬁ ltration efﬁ ciency that may result in a signiﬁ cant reduction in energy consumption and total cost of operation.

Using 3M technologies, these commercial HVAC ﬁ lters offer an industry leading combination of low pressure drop, robust efﬁ ciency, longevity, low weight as well as unique design features. These design features include nested pleats for reduced pressure drop and highly engineered media with a precise balance of mechanical and electret characteristics. The robust efﬁ ciency of these ﬁ lters is tested to the rigorous industry ﬁ lter conditioning standard – ASHRAE 52.2: 2007 Appendix J.

3M™ V-Bank Filters are the only HVAC ﬁ lters that feature innovative integral gaskets. No other manufacturer offers this feature, which helps prevent unﬁ ltered air from ﬂ owing past gaps between the ﬁ lter and the ﬁ lter rack. The integral gaskets from 3M are factory installed, which not only save time during installation, but ensure that gaskets will be used.

Important use restriction: This ﬁ lter must not be used as a primary ﬁ lter in hospitals and healthcare facilities where a MERV 14 primary ﬁ lter is required per ASHRAE 170

- 2008. 3M recommends the use of 3M™ Commercial HVAC Filter Products with a minimum rating of MERV A14 or greater.
