Introduction
This document lists 3Com CoreBuilder®5000 Distributed Management Module Management (DMM) commands for the 3Com CoreBuilder 5000 Integrated System Hub modules. You enter these commands through the CoreBuilder 5000 Distributed Management Module (DMM) interface.

Command Syntax
For information about configuring and managing CoreBuilder 5000 modules using the commands in this document, see the user guide that is shipped with your module.
The commands in this document use the following syntax:
CAPITALIZED TEXT — Main command stem.
lowercase text — Command parameters. Choose one.
italicized text
Some DMM commands are dependent upon the media type of your SwitchModule. When media dependencies apply, they are described in parentheses to the right of the command. Text in parentheses is informational only, and is not part of a command.
— Variable. Enter a value.
Terminal Keystroke Functions
The following table is a quick reference for terminal keystrokes and their functions:
Keystroke Function
Backspace Moves the cursor back one character and deletes that character.
Ctrl+C Terminates the current command and redisplays a blank command line at any time.
Ctrl+D Closes a Telnet session.
Ctrl+R Retypes the previous command string on the command line.
Delete Same as Backspace.
Enter Enters the command.
spacebar Completes a command through
? Displays the available command options.
