modules. You enter these commands through the CoreBuilder 5000 Distributed
Management Module (DMM) interface.

Command Syntax
For information about configuring and managing CoreBuilder 5000 modules using
the commands in this document, see the user guide that is shipped with your
module.
The commands in this document use the following syntax:

CAPITALIZED TEXT — Main command stem.
■
lowercase text — Command parameters. Choose one.
■italicized text
Some DMM commands are dependent upon the media type of your SwitchModule.
When media dependencies apply, they are described in parentheses to the right of
the command. Text in parentheses is informational only, and is not part of a
command.

Terminal Keystroke Functions
The following table is a quick reference for terminal keystrokes and their functions:

BackspaceMoves the cursor back one character and deletes that character.
Ctrl+CTerminates the current command and redisplays a blank command line at any time.
Ctrl+DCloses a Telnet session.
Ctrl+RRetypes the previous command string on the command line.
