ZyXEL NSA-220 is a 2-bay Network Storage Appliance with a maximum capacity
of 1.5TB designed for home and SOHO users. This centralized capacity extension
to users’ storage helps them to organize data in their network, eliminates PC disk
crash risks and saves the time used to backup to CD or DVD. It offers a quick and
easy way to store, access, backup and share important files on locally networked
computers through the network neighborhood or FTP transfers. ZyXEL also
refines the devices with the latest Gigabit Ethernet and SATA technologies to
enhance the performance of digital media transfer, storage, and retrieval. In order
to eliminate technical barriers for users who are not PC-savvy, ZyXEL pays extra
attention to simplify the interface design; in other words, it’s an ideal choice for
users from teenagers to elders.

Multimedia Easily
With DLNA*-certified media server built into ZyXEL Home NAS-220, users can
play digital collections through DLNA*-capable clients such as digital TVs, mobile
phones, media players or PDA in their homes to enjoy music, photos and videos
anywhere, anytime without any special driver or complicated setting. The
comprehensive home media solution includes either a bundled media clients or
optional ZyXEL’s DMA-1000W (802.11g Wireless Digital Media Adapter) to stream
high-definition contents everywhere for digital entertainment.

ZyXEL Home NAS provides a multi-tiered protection scheme: the bundled Memeo Autobackup software helps users to backup files from PC instantly and intuitively;
while the intelligent “Copy” button helps users to backup from external storage devices or card readers, and store all transferred data in an automatically created folder.
In addition, the device has a built-in mirror mode for extra data redundancy to prevent losing priceless home and personal data collection from any single disk failure.
