With the built-in RJ-45 Ethernet and USB interfaces, the ZyXEL P-971M is
designed for home users. It provides clear front panel LED display, plug­and-play installation for the USB connection and CLI (Command Line
Interface) diagnostic features.

Comply with DOCSIS 1.0/1.1/2.0

The ZyXEL P-971M is compliant with DOCSIS 2.0 to ensure capability with
most cable provider’s network environment. It is also backwards
compatible with DOCSIS 1.1/1.0 standards

Ease-of-deployment in the residential market for MSO

The ZyXEL P-971M provides the MSO (Multiple Systems Operator)
a solution with a truly plug-and-play Internet access connection for the
home users.

User-friendly WebGUI

The ZyXEL P-971M offers an easy-to-use Web GUI for device management
and monitoring. This provides home users a pleasant Internet access
experience with no-hassle configuration.

Front panel LED display

The LED indicators on the front panel allow users to monitor the status
and activity of the ZyXEL P-971M and help ensure that the modem is
functioning properly. In addition, the MSO can use the LED indicators to
perform basic troubleshooting for the users.

Hassle-free device management with SNMP v3

The ZyXEL P-971M supports SNMP v3 (Simple Network Management
Protocol version 3) to allow users to obtain the device status, warning
message and related information easily.
