passwordforauthentication,whichavoidsloginofillegalusers.Inaddition,thenetwork
managementsystemimplementsauthority-anddomain-basedmanagementforthe
deviceadministrator.T obespecic,theadministratorcanassignthemanagementrights
toMCUdevicesaccordingtodifferentareas.
EasyOperation
Allthesoftwareofthenetworkmanagementsystemrunsontheserverandnosoftware
needstobeinstalledontheclient.Thenetworkmanagementsystemprovidesthedevice
administratorwithdevicemanagementattheuniednetworkwidemediaswitching
layer.Theadministratorcanimplementremotenetworkmanagementatanyplaceonly
byopeningtheWebbrowserandloggingintotheWebpageoftheZXMS80network
managementsystem.
ConvenientMaintenanceandExtendibility
Nosoftwarerunsontheclientandthusonlythesoftwareontheserverneedstobe

Fromtheperspectiveofabeginneroranewdeploymentuser,thischapterdescribes
howtoquicklyimplementsimplecongurationsintheZXMS80networkmanagement
system,includingthecongurationsofMCU,boards,andterminals.Forothercomplex
congurationsandoperations,refertothefollowingchapters.
1. EntertheWebbrowser,enterhttp://ServerIPaddress:90(Forexample,
http://10.129.129.200:90 )intheaddressbar,andthenpressEnter.Thelogin
pageisdisplayed.
2. ClickEnglish,entertheadministratorname(admin)andpassword(1111 11),andthen
clickLogintodisplaythehomepage.
3. ChooseMCU>Congurefromthemainmenu.TheNewMCUpageisdisplayed.
4. EntertheMCUnumber(forexample,89001),IPaddress,andIPaddressoftheproxy
server.Then,settheproxyserverportto5060.Unlessotherwisespecied,usethe
defaultvaluesforotherparameters.Afterthesettingiscomplete,clickSave.
5. ChooseMCU>Controlfromthemainmenu.OntheControlMCUpage,selectthe
newMCU(89001)intheleft-handpane,andclickConnectMCUtoconnecttheMCU
tothenetworkmanagementsystem.
6. ChooseMCU>Boardfromthemainmenu.Onthepagethatisdisplayed,select
BackupSettingunder89001intheleft-handpanetodisplaytheMCUSlot
Congurationpage.
7. AccordingtothecongurationoftheboardsinsertedintheslotsontheMCU,click
nexttotherequiredslotnumber.Then,selecttherequiredboardtypefromthe
drop-downlist,andclickSave.

FortheNILANandENILboards,theIPaddress,subnetmask,andgatewayare

8. Afterthesettingiscomplete,clickDownloadbackupsettingtodownload
