inconsistent with your handset, pleas e take your handset as

RF Exposure
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)
Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is
designed not to exc eed the limits for expo sure to radio waves
recommended by inter national guidelines. These guidelines
were developed by the independent scientific organization
ICNIRP and include safety margins des igned to assure the
protection of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The guidelines use a unit of measurem ent known as Specif ic
Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is
2.0 W/kg and the hi ghest SAR value fo r this device when
tested at the ear was 1.48W/kg. As mobile devices offer a
range of functions, they can be used in other positions, such
as on the body as descri bed in this user guide.
As SAR is measured utilizing the device’s highest transmitting
power, the actual SAR of this device while operating is
typically below that indicated above. This is due to automatic
changes to the pow er level of the de vice to ensure it onl y
uses the minimum po wer required to co mmunicate with the
network.

Safety and General Use in Vehicles
Safety ai rbag, brake, speed control system and oi l eject
system shouldn’t be affected by wireless transmission. If
you do meet problems above, please contact your
automobile provider. Do not place your phone in the area
over an airbag or in the airbag deployment area. Airbags
inflate with great force. If a phone is placed in the
airbag deployment area and the airbag inflat es, the phone
may be propelled w ith great force and ca use serious injur y
to occupants of the vehicle.
Pleas e turn off your mobi le phone at a refuel ing point, and
the same to the plac e where the use of two-w ay radio is
prohibited.
Aircraft Safety
Please t urn off your mobile phone before the airplane
takes off. In order to protect airplane’s communication
system from in terference, it i s forbidden to use mobile
phone in flight. S afety regulations re quire you to have
permission from a crew member to use your phone while
the plane is on th e ground.
If the m obile phone has the function o f automatic
timing power-on, please check your alarm setting to make
sure that your phone will not be automatically turned o n
during flight.
Using the phone near electrical appliances such as TV,
telephone, radio an d personal computer can cause
interference.
Do not expose your mobile phone to direct sunlight or store
it in hot areas. Hig h temperatures can short en the life of
electronic devices.
The p hone's normal operatin g temperature is -10℃ ~
40℃ .In order to ensur e the normal phone f unctions, do
not use this phon e outside the tempera ture range.
Keep yo ur phone dry. Any liquid m ay damage your phon e.
Do not dr op, knock or harshly treat t he phone. Rough
handling can break internal circuit boards.
Do not connect the phone with any incompatible
enhancement.
Do no t attempt to disassem ble the mobile phone or battery.
Do not store th e phone with flammable or explosive
articles.
Do not ch arge the mobile phone witho ut battery.

Adapter :Adapt er shall be installed near the equipment
and shall be easily accessible.
The p hone cannot be used at an altitude hig her than 2000
meters.
Som e people may b e susceptible to epileptic s eizures or
blackouts whe n exposed to flashing lights, s uch as when
watching television or playing video games. If you have
experienced seizures or blacko uts, or if you have a
family history of such occurrences, please consult yo ur
doctor before playing video games on your phone or enabl ing
a flashing-light fe ature on your phone. (The flashing-light
feature is not available on all products.)
Keep the phone out of t he reach of small children. The
phone may caus e injury if used as a toy.
Precautions While Driving
Ple ase pay attentio n to the traff ic safety. Check t he laws and
regulations o n the use of your pho ne in the area wher e you
drive. Always obey them.
Use hands-free functi on of the phone, if available.
Pull off the road and park before making or answering a call if
conditions require.
Precautions for Medical Devices and Facilities
When using your phone near pacemakers, please always
keep the phone more than eight inches (about twenty
centimeters) from the pacemaker when t he phone is
switched on. Do no t carry the phone i n the breast pocket.
Use the ear opposite the pacemaker to minimize the
potential for interference. Swi tch off the phone
immediately if necessary.

Hold to switch on/off the phone.
Alpha numeric
keys
Press to enter characters 0-9 and the alp habets
from a-z.
Note: In this User Manual, “press a key” means to press
the key and release it immedi ately, while “hold a key”
means to press the key for at least two seconds and t hen
release it.
Locking and Unlocking the Keypad
In the standby mode, press the

Body Worn Operation
Important safety i nformation regardi ng radio frequency ( RF)
radiation exposure.
To ensure complia nce with RF exposur e guidelines the pho ne
must be used with a minimum of 15 mm separation from the
body.
Failure to observe thes e instructions co uld result in your RF
exposure exceeding th e relevant guideline l imits.
Battery Use
Do not short-circui t the battery, as this can cause the uni t
to overheat or ignite.
Do not store battery in hot areas or t hrow it into fire.
Otherwise, it will cause explosion.
Do no t disassemble or ref it the battery. Otherwise, it will
cause liquid leakage, overheating, explosion and ignition of
the battery.
Please store the ba ttery in a cool dry place if you don’t use it
for a long period.
The battery can be recharged for hundreds of times, but it will
eventually wear out . When the operating time (talk tim e
and idle time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time
to replace it with a new one.
Please stop using the charger and battery when they are
damaged or show evidence of aging.
Return the worn-out battery to the provider or dispose of it in
accordance with environment regulations. Do not dispose of
it in household rubbish.
Please us e original batteries or batteries ap proved by
the phone manufacturer. Using any unauthorized battery
may affect your handset performance or may cause danger
of explosion, etc.
Warning: If t he battery is damaged, do not discharge it. If
the leakage does come into contact wi th the eyes o r skin,
wash thoroughly in clean water and consult a doctor.
To prevent possi ble hearing damage,
do not listen at hi gh volume levels
for long periods.
Precautions for Pote ntially Explosive
Atmospheres
Switch off your phone prior to entering any area with
potentially explosive atmospheres, such as fueling areas,
fuel or chemical transfer or storage facilities.
Do not remov e, install, or charge batteries in such areas.
Spark in a potentiall y explosive atmosphere can cause
an explosion or fire resulting in bodily injury or even
death.
To avoid possible interference with blasting operations,
switch off your phone when you are near electrical
blasting caps, in a blas ting area, or in are as posted “Turn
off electronic devices”. Obey all signs and instructions.
Precautions for Elect ronic Devices
Som e electronic d evices are sus ceptible to el ectromagnetic
interference sent by mobile pho ne if inadequately shielded,
such as electronic system of vehicles. Please consult the
manufacturer of the de vice before using the phon e if necessary.
Some p hones may interfere with som e hearing aids. In
the event of such i nterference, you may consult your
hearing aids manuf acturer to discuss alternatives.
If you us e any other personal medical device, please
consult the manufacturer of your device to determi ne if it
is adequately shielded fr om RF (radio frequency) e nerg y.
In those facilities with special demand, such as hospital or
health care facilities, please pay attention to the res triction
on the use of mobil e phone. Switch off your p hone if
required.
Mobile Phone
Please use o riginal accessories or accessories
approved by the phone manufacturer. Using any
unauthorized accessories may affect your mobile phone’s
performance, damage your phone or even cause danger to
your body and violate related local regulations about
telecom terminals.
Turn off your pho ne before you clean it. Use a damp or
anti-static cloth to clean the p hone. Do not use a dry
cloth or electros tatically charged cl oth. Do not use
chemical or abrasive cleaners as these coul d damage the
phone.
As your mobile phone can produce electromagnetic field,
do not place it near magnet ic items such as computer
disks.
Security
To prot ect your mobil e phone from il legal use, take
the security measures as follows:
Set PIN co des of the SIM card.
Set handset lock code.
Set call restrictions.
Safety Precautions
This section includes some important information on safe
and efficient operation. Please read this information before
using the phone.
Operational Precautions
Pleas e use your phone properly. When making or
receiving a call, please hold your phone as holding a
wireline telephon e. Make sure that the phone is a t least
one inch (about two point five cent imeters) from your
body when transmi tting.
Do not touch the antenna when the phone is in use.
Touching the antenna area affects call quali ty and may
cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than
needed.

How to play music
Go to Menu> Multimed ia >Audio player. You can play the
audio in the memor y card.
Note: Before us ing this function, you must insert the memory
card first.
How to use FM radio
Go to Menu> Multimed ia > FM radio.
With the radio, you can search for radio channels and
listen to th em. In the FM radio interfac e, you can pres s
the */# keys to adjust volume, press the Left/Right
keys to tune t he frequency, and press the Center key
to pause. Sel ect Options to enter the submenu.
Note: please take yo ur handset as the sta ndard.
Services
Go to Menu > Services. In Services yo u can use the
STK.
STK
SIM card Toolkit ( STK) services are val ue-added services
provided by your network provider.
Your mobile phone supports STK servi ce, but if your SIM ca rd
and network provider do not support the ser vice, these
functions can’t be used.
Date and time: Set date, time an d format.
Restore facto ry settings: E nter the pho ne password to
restore to the factory settings. Some person al information
might be lost if yo u use this functio n, so be careful.
Note: You may be r equired to input th e phone password in
some of the
security settings interfaces. The default
password
is
1122. You also can change the
password
in Settings.
Bluetooth
The Bluetooth devices must be paired bef ore the
communication is performed.
1. Go to Me nu>
Settings >Conne ctivity>Bluetooth. You
can turn on or off Bluetooth on your phone.
When Bluetooth is o n, the
icon will appear in the status
bar.
2. Go to My device >Search new device to search other
Bluetooth-enabled devices a nd list them.
3. Selec t the desired device name in the list and press Pair.
4. Enter the wireless password, and then press OK. When the
opposite party enters the same password, the connection
will be established.
Note: Go to Visibility, you c an choose to be vis ible or not.
When your phone i s visible, and the Bl uetooth is turned o n, all
other Bluetooth-enabled devices within range can det ect your
phone.
Sending and receiving messages
You can use your mobile ph one to send an d receive
messages.
Send a messa ge
1. Go to Menu > Messaging >Write message >
Text/Multi media message.
2. Wr ite your messa ge. For more i nformation on i nput
method, see section ‘Text Input’. When you write
an SMS, press Options → Send to, and edit the
recipient. When you write an MMS, you can edit To,
Cc, Bcc, Sub ject and conte nt. In content field, you
can select Opt ions and then choose add picture,
sound, video, attachment and so on.
3. When you finish writing an SMS/MMS, select
Options to send or save the message.
Receive a messag e
Upon receivi ng a message, t he mobile phone will alert
you with a ri ngtone, prompt, or a new message icon.
1. Press View to enter the Inbox directly and then press
the Center key to open the mess age.
2. Use t he Up/Down keys to view the m essage.
3. Whi le the messag e is open, use Options to repl y,
delete, or fo rward the mess age. You can als o call
back the sender.
Writing text
Change input mode: Press the # key to chan ge the input
mode.
Input Letters: pre
ss
the corresponding letter to enter desired
characters. It does not work in numeric (123) mode
.
Input Digits: In
numeric mode, press digit k ey once to
input a digit.
Input Symbol: Press the * key to enter symbol mode,
select the required symbol (common symbols) by pressing
the Navigation keys and then press the Left soft key
or Centre key to confirm it.
Input Space: Press t he 0 key to input space. It does not
work in numeric (123) mode.
Delete Character: Press the Right soft key to clear a
character. Hold the Right soft key to delete all character s
and clear the display.
Move Cursor to Left or Right: Among the text, press the
Left/Right navigation keys to move the c ursor to left
or right.
How to add contact to the Phonebook
There are some num bers that you may w ant to call again a nd
again, so it makes sense to add these numbers to your
Phonebook. You can then access these numbers quickly and
easily.
4. Insert t he memory card with t he metal contacts facing
down until it clicks to the right position.

Note: You can use m emory card to expand the storage of the
phone. You can stor e or copy files suc h as music and so o n.
Do not take out the card o r switch off the phone while
transmitting or storing data, w hich may cause data lo ss or
damage to the phone or t he card.
Disposal of Your Old Appliance

The lithiumion battery of the mobile phone can be
immediately used after unpacking.
Installing and removing the battery
1. Make sure t hat your phone is of f and remove the b attery
cover.
2. Insert the battery by aligning the metal contacts with the
contacts in th e battery slot. And then Push down the
upper section of the battery until it clicks into place.
Organizer
Go to Menu>Tools
Alarm
You can view, and edit the alarm clocks settings. You can also
enable or disable the alarms, or set the corres ponding
features of the alar m according to instr uctions.
Calendar
Enter the Calendar, the calendar of the cur rent month will be
displayed on the scr een and the current d ate will be marked
by a background box in a special colour.
File manager
Go to Menu>File manager. You can check all the folders in
the memory card, create new ones or rename, delete the
folders, etc.
Note: When you select Forma t, the data will be lost, so
please be careful with this func tion.
How to play games
Go to Menu> Fun > Games.
Your mobile phone has classic games. Select a game and start
it, you can view help to see the rules of the game.
Note: please take your handset as the st andard.
How to set User profiles
Go to Menu>Settings>Profiles. You can select
Options>Activate/ Customize to activate/edit a profile.
How to view Call history
Go to Menu>Call center>Call history.
Dialled calls, Received calls and Missed calls are saved in Call
history. If the records a re full, the earliest s aved records will
be deleted.
Also, you can delete call logs and view call timers in Call
history.
How to configure Call settings
Go to Menu>Call center>Call settings.
You can set Call waiting, Call divert and Call barring and so on.
How to set your phone
You can adjust various settings of your phone. Go to
Menu>Settings.
Phone settings: Select language, set input m ethods and
display, etc.
Network settings: Set to automatically or manually select
network.
Security settings: Set security features to protect you from
unauthorized use of your phone and SIM card.
1. Go to Menu>Phonebook>A dd new contact.
2. Edit the infor mation and save it.
You can also save a number right after you’ve made or
received a phone call or a text message from someone
who is not yet in your Phonebook list.
To delete someone fro m your Phonebook li st, first select
the name, then sel ect Options>Delete.
How to make and receive calls
The most basic way to make a call is to input the number in
the standby mod e and press the Send key. You can also
make a call from the Phonebook lis t.
To call someone: Go to Menu> Phonebook . Use t he
Up/Down keys to fi nd the name of the p erson you want to
call. You can also type in the first letter of t he name of the
person you want to call to find the right nam e, and press the
Send key.
To receive a call, pr ess the Send key.
To end a call, press the End/Power key.
To reject a call, pres s the End/Power key.
Make sure that you are in an area with sufficient coverag e to
make calls. The st rength of the networ k signal is indicated on
the Status Bar of the screen.
Charging the battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. Fo r
maximum battery performance, it i s recommended that you
first use up the battery power and then charge it completely.
A new battery’s full performance is achieved only after three
complete charge and discharge cycles.
1. Connect your trav el adapter to the right of your mobile
phone.
2. Connect the other end of the travel adapter to the mains
socket.
3. When the battery i s fully charged, disconnect the charger.
Powering your phone on/off
Make sure that your SIM card is in your mobile phone and that
the battery is charged.
Hold the End/Power key to power on/off the phone. The
phone will automatically search for the network when
switched on.
Turning the torch on/off
In the standby mode, hold the 0 key can turn on or off the
torch.
Inserting the SIM/SD card
SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a micro-chip that
holds your personal information such as names and phone
numbers. Your phone won’t work witho ut it. If you already
have contacts on your SIM card, they can be transferred in
most cases.
Insert the SIM and memory card as follows:
1. Make sure that the phone is switched off and the c harger is
disconnected from the pho ne.
2. Turn the phone o ver and remove the battery cover.
3. Hold your SIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown
and then slide it into the card holder with the metal
contacts facing downward.
