Introduction
RFID antennas mounted underneath the table are specially congured to read items placed on the
surface in any orientation. Specialized antennas provide superior performance for fast, accurate,
condent reads in multiple orientations across the table surface.
This document describes how to perform a typical installation of the Zebra Table RFID Portal.

Installation
This installation should only be performed by a professional technician trained to install this
hardware.
Read these instructions thoroughly before performing the installation.
The Zebra RFID Table Portal is attached to the pallet upside down. The table weighs approximately
100 pounds and requires no less than two persons to set upright. Take all necessary safety
precautions.
1. Remove the table from its packaging.
2. Turn the table to its upright position.
3. Move the table to the desired location.
4. Connect Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable.

Operation
The Zebra RFID Table Portal is operational when the Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable is connected.
Moving the Table
1. Unlock the casters (if locked)
2. Roll the table to the desired location.
3. Lock the casters.
Adjusting the Table Height
4. Rotate the adjustment crank clockwise to raise the table height.
5. Rotate the adjustment crank counterclockwise to lower the table height.

Cleanup
Make sure to remove any packing material, packing ties, tools, and other equipment from the
installation.
Make sure to clean up any dust or debris created by the installation.
