Selecting additional functions
You can choose from the additional functions:
button 1 -Délicat (Delicate)
button 2 -Anti-Froissage (Long Anticrease)
button 3 -Alarme (Buzzer)
button 4 -Départ différé (Delay Start)
Délicat (Delicate)
Pressing this button allows drying to be performed at a
lower temperature, for delicate items. The corresponding
pilot light comes on. This option can also be used for time
controlled drying.
Anti-Froissage (Long Anticrease)
A long anti-crease phase lengthen the anti-crease phase
(30 min.) at the end of the drying additionally by 60 minutes. The drum rotates at intervals during this phase.
This keeps the laundry loose and free of creases. Phase
lasts in total 90 minutes. The laundry can be removed at
any time during the anti-crease phase.
When the option is active, the Anti-Froissage (Long Anticrease) light is on.
8
Alarme (Buzzer)
When the drying cycle has finished, an intermittent audible signal will sound. By depressing button ALARM the
acoustic signal is switched off in the following cases:
• when selecting the programme
• when depressing the buttons
• when the programme selector dial is turned to another
position during the programme or when you depress
an option button during the cycle
• at the end of the programme.
The corresponding light comes on.
Départ différé (Delay Start)
With the Départ différé (Delay Start) button, you can
delay the start of a programme by 3, 6 or 9 hours.
1. Select the programme and additional functions.
2. Press the Départ différé (Delay Start) button as many
times as necessary (the lights show which delay time
have been chosen).
3. To activate the delay timer, press button Marche/Arrêt
(Start/Pause) . The lights 9h 6h 3h change on every
three hours until the time is getting on for start cycle.
Starting the programme
Press Marche/Arrêt (Start/Pause) button to start the dryer
after having selected the programme and the options. The
relevant light will stop flashing. If the programme selector
dial is turned to another position, when the machine is
running, the buzzer will sound and the programme phase
indicator lights will flash. The drum turns alternately in
both directions during drying.
All drying programmes end with a 10 minute cooling
phase. You may remove the laundry after this phase.
If the door of the appliance or the small door at the bottom
is opened while the programme is running, this button
must be pressed again after closing the door in order to
restart the programme from the point at which it was interrupted. This button must be depressed also after a
power failure and after having reinserted the water reservoir, if it has been emptied in the middle of a programme
after lighting up of light Bac plein (Water Reservoir) .
In both cases the light of the Marche/Arrêt (Start/Pause)
button flashes to remind you that the start button needs
to be pressed again.
Indicator lights
These lights indicate the following functions:
• Séchage (Drying) light: This light indicates that the
appliance is in the drying phase.
• Anti-Froissage/Fin (Anticrease/End) light: This light
is on at the end of the cooling phase, during the anticreasing phase and at the end of the programme.
• Bac plein (Water Reservoir) light: This light indicates
that the appliance is in the drying phase. This light
comes on at the end of the programme to remind you
that the water reservoir must be emptied out. If this
light illuminates during a programme this means that
the water reservoir is full. The buzzer sounds, the programme stops, the light of the Start/Pause button
flashes. This light comes on also when the water reservoir is not inserted correctly.
• Filtres (Filter) light: This light illuminates at the end of
the programme to remind you that the filters must be
cleaned.
• Condenseur (Condenser) light: It comes on every 80
cycles to remind you that the condenser must be
cleaned.
Changing programme
To change a programme which has been selected by mistake once the programme has started, first turn the programme selector to " O" (OFF) position. The programme
is cancelled.
The programme can no longer be changed directly
once the programme has started. If nevertheless
there is an attempt to change the programme on the programme knob or if an function button (excluding the
Alarme (Buzzer) button) is pressed, led above Marche/
Arrêt (Start/Pause) button starts flashing temporarily in
yellow. The drying programme is not however affected by
this (laundry protection).
At the end of the programme
If the laundry is not removed at the end of the cycle, the
dryer performs an anticreasing phase (duration: 30 minutes maximum).
If you do not remove the laundry, the dryer will stop automatically at the end of the anticreasing phase. Lights
Anti-Froissage/Fin (Anticrease/End) , and Bac plein (Water Reservoir) remain lit and the buzzer sounds for 2 minutes.
Turn the programme selector dial to “ O ” to switch the
machine off. Remove the laundry from the drum and carefully check that the drum is empty.
9
If you do not intend to carry out another wash, close the
water tap. Leave the door open to prevent the formation
of mildew and unpleasant smells.
If you open and then close the door before turning
the selector dial to “ O ” all the lights corresponding
to the phases making up the performed programme come
on.
Cleaning and maintenance
After each use
• Clean the filters.
• Empty the water reservoir.
Cleaning lint filters
To ensure that the appliance works perfectly, the lint filters
in the door and in front of the drum must be cleaned after
every drying cycle.
Caution! Important. Never operate the dryer without
the lint filter or with a damaged or blocked lint filter.
1. Open loading door2. After a period of time, a
patina due to detergent
residue on laundry forms
on the filters. Then clean
the filters with warm water
using a brush. Remove the
filter from the door pulling
it out.
Cleaning heat exchanger
Clean the condenser when light Condenseur (Condenser) comes on.
The condenser is situated at the lower part of the cabinet
behind a small door.
1. To open the door, push
the catch as per picture.
During the drying cycle or
at the end, it is normal for
water to be present on the
surface of the condenser
insertion.
2. Turn the two red stops
downwards.
3. Use a damp hand to
clean the micro- fine filter,
which is built into the lower part of the loading aperture.
10
4. Remove fluff from lint
filter, preferably using a
damp hand for this purpose.
Replace the filter.
3. Pull out the condenser
unit holding it at the handle .
Important! Do not use pointed objects or utensils to clean
the spaces between the plates, as this could damage the
condenser and make it permeable. Re-fit the condenser,
turn the red stops upwards and close the door.
Important! Do not use this appliance if the condenser has
not been fitted.
4. Clean it with a brush and
rinse it under the shower if
necessary. Also clean the
outside, removing all fluff.
Clean the rubber seal
round the condenser cabinet and in the inner part of
the small door with a damp
cloth.
Emptying the water reservoir
Water extracted from the laundry condenses inside the
machine and is collected in a reservoir. The reservoir must
be emptied after each drying cycle to ensure efficient operation when the machine is next used. The Bac plein
(Water Reservoir) light reminds you to perform this operation.
Important! The reservoir must be re-inserted correctly.
If this is not done the pilot light Bac plein (Water Reservoir) comes on during next drying and the programme
stops, leaving the laundry damp. The buzzer will sound.
After inserting the reservoir press the Marche/A rrêt (Start/
Pause) button again to allow the programme to continue.
The condensed water may be used in a steam iron
or to top up a battery, etc. In this case it must be
filtered (e.g. through a coffee filter).
Cleaning the drum
Caution! Do not use abrasives or stee l wool to clean
the drum.
Lime in the water or cleaning agents may form a
barely visible lining on the inside of the drum. The
degree to which the laundry has been dried is then no
longer detected reliably. The laundry is damper than expected when removed from the appliance.
Use a standard domestic cleaner (e.g. vinegar-based
cleaner) to wipe down the inside of the drum and drum
ribs.
Clean control panel and housing
Caution! Do not use furniture cleaners or
aggressive cleaning agents to clean the machine.
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the control panel and

située sur le socle du sèche-linge ;
– respectez les charges indiquées dans le tableau ré-
capitulatif des programmes ;
– aérez suffisamment la pièce ;
– nettoyez les filtres microfin et grossier après chaque
cycle de séchage ;
– essorez suffisamment le linge avant de le sécher.
La consommation d'énergie dépend de la vitesse
d'essorage du lave-linge. Plus la vitesse d'essorage
est élevée plus la consommation d'énergie est basse.
