Yamaha TRB5PIIC Owner’s Manual

The TRB-PII series is the product of a series of refinements
by our craftsmen to our TRB series. Their exquisite bodies
are crafted from light weight ash and your choice of flamed
maple, ovangkol or buvinga tops. Finely sculpted for an
ergonomic fit they incorporate through body necks with 35"
scale lengths. Along with a pair of double-coil Alnico J-style
pickups, a piezo-electric pickup is utilized to add the full
warmth and depth of the body’s beautiful resonance. Active
circuit tone controls include a 3-band EQ for precise sound
tailoring, a Piezo Volume and Balancer that let’s you mix the
signal from the piezo and double-coil pickups, and finally a
Master Volume. Precision tuning is accomplished with gold
tuners while beautifully machined individual bridges anchor
each string to the instrument.

series basses even more tonal versatility. Precise control provided
by the continuous mid-range EQ control offers wider tonal
possibilities and lets you find that sweet spot with ease.
