The printer drivers enable printing from a Macintosh workstation to a Xerox system in a network
environment. They contain a variety of feature options that enable you to customize your print jobs.
The CentreWare 6.0 release provides support for Xerox WorkCentre 232/238/245/255, WorkCentre 265/
275, WorkCentre Pro 232/238/245/255, and WorkCentre Pro 265/275 printers.

Supported Features
Features supported in this release of the custom OS X printer drivers include stapling, folding, hole
punching, faxing, booklets, Special Pages, and Watermarks.
OS X Printer Drivers
Custom printer drivers are available for OS X (10.3 and above). The printer drivers consist of a disk
image file (.DMG) that includes the following components:
There are no custom printer drivers available for OS 9 in this release. Generic Printer Description files
(PPDs) are provided for OS 9 which can be used with Adobe PostScript 8.x and Apple LaserWriter 8.x
printer drivers.
Macintosh Printer Utility
The Macintosh Printer Utility (provided for OS 9) is an application that enables network administrators
to:
Rename and rezone Xerox systems that are configured for AppleTalk connectivity.
Query the characteristics of a printer.
Print a list of fonts installed on a printer.
Send PostScript files or portions of PostScript code to a printer.

The guide is intended for administrators who install and configure printer drivers. It is available on the
Print And Fax Drivers CD in electronic (PDF) format.
Help
OS X has a fully-featured help system that is accessed by choosing Help from the Macintosh Help menu
or clicking the
Macintosh OS 9 supports balloon help. Enable balloon help on your system and individual help for
features for the configured PPD will be available.
