The 1F82-261, -2XX and 1F89-211, -2XX are designed for use on typical heat-pump systems with two stages of heat and one stage of c ool i ng. They require 24 volts hot to the “R” terminal and 24 volts neutral to the “C” terminal. Heat and Cool will not work without 24 volts applied to “R” and “C”.
Be sure the O/B switch is i n the correct position for the heat-pump the thermost at i s being installed on. If t he system requires both an “O” and a “B” si gnal from the thermostat use a 1F92 or 1F94 model.
