Before using the dishwasher/Connections

1. Rem oving t he packaging and cont rols:

Aft er unpacking, make sure that t he dishwasher is undamaged and that t he door closes correct ly. If in doubt, contact a qualified technician or your local retailer.

•Keep t he packaging mat erials (plast ic bags,

polyst yrene part s, et c.) out of reach of children, as t hey are pot ent ially dangerous.

2. Wat er and elect rical connect ions:

All w at er and elect rical connect ions must be carried out by a qualif ied t echnician in compliance w it h t he manuf act urer's inst ruct ions (ref er t o t he enclosed

inst allat ion booklet ) and current local saf et y regulat ions.

The appliance must only be used in t he household f or

t he prescribed uses.

Do not use the dishw asher if it has been damaged in t ransit . Consult your local retailer or our Af ter-Sales Service.

3. Wat er inlet and drain:

•Observe any special regulat ions issued by your local Wat er Board.

Wat er supply pressure: 0.3 - 10 bar.

•M ake sure t he inlet and drain hoses are kink-f ree and are not crushed.

•If t he hose lengt h is not suf f icient , please cont act your local dealer or our Af t er-Sales Service.

4. Elect rical connect ion:

•Closely adhere t o local

Elect ricit y Board regulat ions. Volt age inf ormat ion isshow n on t he rat ing plat e mount ed inside t he door on t he right hand side.

•The appliance must be

eart hed as prescribed by law .

•Do not use ext ension leads or mult iple adapt ers.

•Bef ore carrying out

maint enance, disconnect t he mains plug.

•The pow er cable must only be replaced by aut horized personnel.

Warning f or m odels provided w ith LCD display:

The mains plug must be posit ioned in an easily accessible place.

Electrical connection

1) For Great Brit ain only

Fuse replacem ent

If t he mains lead of t his appliance is f it t ed w it h a

BS 1363A 13amp f used plug, t o change a f use in t his t ype of plug use an A.S.T.A. approved f use t o BS 1362

t ype and proceed as f ollow s:

1. Remove t he f use cover (A) and f use (B).

2. Fit replacement 13A f use int o f use cover.

3. Ref it bot h int o plug.

Im port ant :

The f use cover must be ref it t ed w hen changing a

f use and if t he f use cover is lost t he plug must not be used unt il a correct replacement is f it t ed.

Correct replacement are ident if ied by t he colour insert or t he colour embossed in w ords on t he base of t he plug.

Replacement f use covers are available f rom your local elect rical st ore.

2)For t he Republic of Ireland only

The inf ormat ion given in respect of Great Brit ain w ill f requent ly apply, but a t hird

t ype of plug and socket is also used, t he 2-pin, side eart h t ype.

3)Socket out let / plug (valid for both countries)

If t he f it t ed plug is not suit able f or your socket out let , Please cont act Whirlpool Service f or

f urt her inst ruct ion. Please do not at t empt t o change plug yourself . This procedure needs t o be carried out by a qualif ied Whirlpool t echnician in compliance w it h t he

manuf act ures inst ruct ions and current st andard saf et y regulat ions.
