HOW TO OPERATE THE OVEN
• Open the oven door fully.
• Gently press the th ermostat k n ob an d turn it an ti-clockwise to th e m axim um positi on.
• Press the thermostat knob right in to light the oven and hold it for a few seconds to activate the
safety thermocouple.
• Check for oven burner igniti on thr ough the slots in fr on t of th e oven bottom and mak e sur e that th e
burner flame remains alight when the knob is released. If it does not, repeat the operation.
Check that the burner is operating correctly with the door closed. Do not use excessive force when
closing the door.
• Turn the knob to the desired temperature.
• Place the food to be cooked inside the oven.

- If your oven does not light or is not provided with electric ignition, proceed as follows:
• Ignite the burner with a m atch or a gas igniter at the cen tral igniti on slot at the fr ont o f the oven base .
The oven burner is equipped with a safety valve that cuts off the gas supply:
• if the thermostat knob is turned accidentally and gas is supplied to the oven burner
• if the burner flame accidentally goes out
• if there is no gas supply. The th ermostat is equipped with a lock to stop th e burner from g oing out
while adjusting the oven temperature from maximum to minimum. To switch off the burner when
it is set to the minimum position, gently press the knob and rotate it until the mark on the knob
is aligned with the mark on the panel (•).
Useful cooking tips
• For optimum cooking results, pr e-heat th e oven to the d esired temperatur e before placin g the f ood insi de .
• Pre-heating is not necessary for cooking particularly fatty food.
• For cooking frozen meat, it is advisable to set the temperature 20°C lower than the normal cooking
temperature and to increase the cooking time by approximately 15 minutes.

HOW TO OPERATE THE GRILL
• Open the oven door.
• Place the food to be grilled on the bar rack or in a shallow oven tray.
• Position th e knobs guard on the lowest possible step.
• Place the drip tray under the bar rack.
• Position the deflector on the lower part of the control panel.
• Gently press the knob and turn it clockwise to the grill position.
• Press the knob righ t in to activate th e electri c i gniti on an d h old it f or a
few seconds to activate the safety th erm ocouple.
• Check for grill burner ignition and make sure that the burner flame
remains alight when the knob is released. If it does not, repeat the
operation.
• Close the oven door so that it touches the knobs guard.
• Turn over the food about half-way through cooking time.
• N.B. below.: Cooking with the grill must not exceed 30 minutes.
Attention: Parts that can be touched can reach very high temper atures
when the grill is being used.
Keep children away.
If the grill is rarely used, it is advisable to turn it on for a few minutes
before it is needed to eliminate residues of previously cooked food.
HOW TO OPERATE THE TURNSPIT
The turnspit can be used together with the grill.
• Skewer the meat and secure it in place using the two forks.
• Place the spit support in its seat.
• Unscrew the handle and remove it.
• Place the drip tray on the bottom level
• Turn the grill on followin g th e instructions given in the secti on “H ow
to operate the grill”.
• Position th e knobs guard at the bottom of the control panel
• Close the oven door so that it touches the knobs guard.
• At the end of cookin g tak e th e spit sk ewer out o f th e ove n usin g oven
gloves.
Attention: Parts that can be touched can reach ve ry high temperatur es
when the grill is being used.

HOW TO OPERATE THE MINUTE MINDER
The minute minder can be set for a maximum of 1 hour.
• Turn the min ute mind er kn ob clockwise to 60 and th en turn it anti-clockwise to the r equired cooking
time.
• At the end o f the set cooking time an acoustic alarm will sound; the oven does not switch off.
