• To make the most of your new appliance, please read the user instructions carefully and keep them to handy
for future consultation.
INSTALLATION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE
INSTALLER
Make sure that the appliance is installed and connected to the
•
electricity supply by a qualified technician in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with local
regulations.
Before installation, please read these few hints:
•
The cooktop must be installed into a worktop (20-40 mm thick for an
•
electric hotplate, 30-40 mm for a barbecue and fryer, and 600 mm
deep).
The distance between the lower face of the cooktop and any
•
cupboard or separating panel must be of at least 30 mm.
If the cooktop is to be installed next to a column unit, leave the
•
distance illustrated in the figure.
If a hood or cupboard is installed above the cooktop, leave a
•
minimum distance of 650 mm.
The coatings of the walls of th e unit or appliances near the cooktop
•
must be heat resistant.
Do not install the cooktop near flammable materials (e.g.: curtains).
•
The wall behind the cooktop must be at least 50 mm away.
•
